Love the Thanksgiving decorations. Great ideas. We play games and then go shopping. Going to my daughters in Virginia Beach so plan on walking on the beach.
I think a great idea would be to go purchase a large turkey everyone when they are on sale for that 49 to 69 cent price per pound. Or even purchase two large turkeys and donate them to a homeless shelter. What a great way to help those less fortunate to enjoy throughout the year at mealtimes. Could also donate other side items that go on sale this period of time also.
Thanks as always, for your great content Steve & Annette. We here in Canada celebrated Thanksgiving last month, and I did indeed stock up on those "on sale" items, some of which we'll use at Christmas time such as stuffing, turkey, cranberries. Have a wonderful holiday weekend!

We do have some coupons, but the sales are something else, we agree. Sales are everywhere, so are discontinued items. Keep looking, don't give up, you will find deals!
The tradition at my house is we go to Costco and buy the pumpkin pie, there is enough pie for three people, as we give my girlfriend leftovers to take home, this way she does not have to make a turkey for one and we just buy a 14 or `5 lb. bird. Works great for everyone.

Doing what works for each family is the best!
Last year after Thanksgiving I got some spiral cut hams for 99cents a pound. Was so great to help others after the holidays.
