No matter how good Triumph's fit and finish is..this iteration and similar 400cc bikes from them looks so much like Bajaj Pulsar of yesteryear which was present in every corner of India...they should have gone for a bike with a classic and retro approach like that of Bonneville, T120... Plus, there's no way they will be able to compete in numbers given the fact that dealership stores are so limited throughout India..

The T is more suitable it seems for our indian road conditions Thinner tyre and low revving high torque will give better mileage and telescopic suspension is much more suitable for our pathetic road conditions

Anyone who is spending +2L can extend 10% more for a better performance bike. I don't think it will take the sales of Hunter 350 coz price difference is huge. They should have made it more classic and added long stroke engine to compete with RE 350s and Honda CB350rs. Colors are nice but I like less graphics. That 400 is screaming for attention. Front DRL design is also meh.
It could have been even better if they had added fork gaitors, so that it will not only just protect the forks seals but also make the bike look more good.

This t4 is an experiment, ek proper classic model is coming, one short has been released on yt in which the whole bike has been clearly shown. Uss bike me same engine tuning hogi like t4 or even more relxed setup.

Honestly saying this can NEVER be a RE hunter/classic competitor.....and the reason is showroom coverage of RE as compared to Triumph. Yes Triumph has tie up with Bajaj but Bajaj dont sell these bikes. If i have to get any triumph then i still have to go 200+ kms distance to the nearest Triumph showroom whereas RE has a big well managed well maintained showroom at a distance of 1km only. 😅
If it comes to the states it better be $4000 the same cost as the hunter otherwise you should probably pay more and get more capable for regular speed 400

How decreasing the sprocket increase torque, it is other way if you reduce rare sprocket, you will reduce torque and increase top speed.
