I just got mine in the mail. Ordered it in May, delivered in July. Box was all messed up. No instructions. Thanks for the video now I at least know how to use it. I thought it had batteries. Not sure how to tighten the wingnut, though. It's so close to the body you can barely turn it.
I have one and it works great. Before I would leave my pellet grill on for about ten minutes after I finished cooking. Then, before I starting cooking the next time, I would bring the grill back to about 350-400 degrees and then scrape the dried crud off. Which worked okay unless I was going to cook something at a much lower temperature. You almost have to turn the grill off fore awhile to get it down to 200 so I could slow cook ribs and briskets. Now with the Grill Daddy, I clean the grill right after I finish cooking and while the grease on the grill is still juicy. The steam from the water dripping out of the Grill Daddy cleans the juicy grease and crust right off so your grill is ready the next time you want to cook. I suggest you only scrape with the Grill Daddy in only one direction so the bristles stay in the head (much less wear and tear). Also, always check the grill gates to make sure there are no bristles left on the grill grates.
OMG! I ordered this before Father’s Day in May and just got it yesterday (9/3/20)!! The box was literally in shreds and the letters on the product are completely erased. I didn’t know that grey knob was an off/on switch until I saw the video. NEVER again ordering shit from China!
Same here Patricia -- I ordered 3 months ago from an ad on Facebook (which I'll NEVER do again), it arrived 1 month ago in a box that was mangled and torn apart!! It had NO INSTRUCTIONS. I was going to return it or file a complaint with my credit card company, but that would be a waste of time, so lesson learned -- don't order anything from any ads on FACEBOOK!! It's such a scam. Thank you for this video MrJustDIY!!
I saw a commercial for GrillDaddy for Father's day. I was thinking of getting it for my husband (and me). Thanks for the video. It's looks like it works pretty well. Have you put it in the dishwasher yet? What kind of mess does it leave in there? :)
Teresa Maerzke No I haven't tried it in a dishwasher yet since I don't have one but my wife cleans it with hot water and Dawn dish soap and it cleans up good.
MrJustDIY, Very helpful video! Thanks!! Can't wait to try mine. Paulie
Glad it was helpful!

Came from China and it takes forever. You're welcome and I hope you like it.
Mine too! Worst part about it? It's MADE IN CONNECTICUT!!! I probably could've bought this at the As Seen on TV store at the flea market!!!!
Kristi Brittle mine arrived exactly the same way. Wrecked box with no instructions. Looks like a returned product. Very cheaply made also.
I had the same issue - ordered in May, got it in July. No Instructions.
Mine too. Months late and box was damaged.
Thank you
You're welcome

I've had one for two years! They work great.
Craig Arndt That they do.... I just wish they would hold more water in them.
Just bought myself one. In New Zealand they call it the Steam Zoom Grill Cleaner, but looks identical
Hope it works good for you. I need to get a new one.
Thanks man, i got one and was wondering how it steamed i was looking for batteries then i saw your video hahaha . Thank you
You're welcome and have a great weekend.
Me too! Was wondering how it worked. I was looking for a battery compartment. Duh! Guess I’m never too old to learn. Thanks Mr.JustDIY!
Same here
thank you... Mine is leaking first time... I wrote to the company and am waiting to hear from them.
Sorry to hear that
your grill was clean before you started, mine NEVER looks like that after I grill on it

I am sure that would work just as well, just the concept it what sells this product!
If it’s made in USA, why is the bar code in Chinese? Also, I ordered this for Father’s Day in May & just got it (in mid July)
Just going by what it says

You should turn off the flames otherwise it will melt...
It's holding up good.
My grill is usually about 400 degrees when I use it
A spray bottle with some water & vinegar people...
Seems like you have a pretty high oxygen breach.. check your burners and reduce your baffles 👍
The grill on my BBQ is shocking. Very unhygienic.
VB Ed Not good... I could come over there and clean it up for you.... lol
WHO DISLIKED SWEETIE IM SO SORRY
