So this was my first time doing this and synching the screen record was a bit annoying. But I did have a lot of fun creating this video.

It’s very useful for screenshotting and also gives a clear overview of what kind of dna you like, so it’s easier to identify the similarities with our own liking/disliking when blind buying. Great video!!! Can you list in the description box your choices and the category? At least for the "Give me now" & "One bottle worthy" categories. It's too hard to see on the screen because you do not show the names. I know it's more work but it would be a great reference for all time. I got Liam this week and wow!!!❤ so perfect for grey, rainy, dreary days! It's a bit gourmand, but in a way I can actually handle. One of my friends told me I smelled like a spice bun, and it definitely gets compliments. I really go in with the sprays, too! 😂

Thank you for helping out Simin. Do you mind preparing similar dedicated presentations for men, women and unisex including some other brands you may have in your collection or based on your experience? Tier videos would be a really nice addition to your mix. Maybe even comparing previous tiers with current ones would be nice to see how things change in time. You may also even consider tiers (or group your reviews) by occasion etc. Remain as-is the way you are now and your channel will grow exponentially in time. Note it! One last note pay attention to SEO techniques which may help with visibility. You may even utilize AI. Keep up the great work!

I absolutely loved loved watching the spreadsheet review. Gave me an system of where I rate my own lattafas as well, also some “holes“ to fill in my collection. Your reactions are priceless!Only thing I was missing is some of the names of the frags because you only mention the name once or twice and they don’t show up written. I didn’t catch the names of some I want. Sorry I don’t know how to spell😅

This is the best Way of getting a sense of your perfume taste and add more understanding to what you like and dislike. Qaed El Fursan is rated lower and is one of my favorites, Nebras is rated among the highest and so would I. I guess you like Yellow flower notes and I do not. You Seem to understand incensy fragances and I Can only tolerate the note in moderate amount. This was one of the best videos I have seen of rating perfumes. I sat the speed to two 😀

Hola Simin !! Lamentablemente no tengo ninguno de los perfumes que pusiste en primer lugar, pero hacia abajo si tengo varios y uno de los que amo es Tharwah Gold , Khamrah y luego Thouq, Mazaaji, Mayar ( no entiendo porque esta tan abajo, para mi es alegre, simple, fresco y por sobre todo, muy duradero), Khashaf y uno que tampoco esta en la lista y me encabta es Al Awsaaf para mi unisex. Y el que me desoluciono porque no me dura mucho y su aroma no es tan espectacular Bade'e Al Oud & Glory y los que no me gustan son Ajwad por su olor muy metalico y Ajwad Pink por su olor a gasolina. 😘😘😘

Everything in there is spot on (especially the boring row), apart from the blech row! Ana abiyedh one and confidential gold are clones of Kirke/Erba Pura, so if you dislike one you will dislike the other. Sutoor has a similar vibe to TF's bitter peach, and I love qaed al fursan white personally

I love qaed al fursan it smells creamy and sweet, yara tous is very nice for summer like a sunscreen/lotion... i will get some of your favourites and come back, thank you. ❤
I know it hasn’t anything to do with Lattafas, but I will never thank you enough for Rasana by Rasasi: it has become my favourite summer scent, it is something deliciously citrusy, yet with depth and mystery, I never smelled before. I can’t wait to collect all the other Qasamat and to get Junoon oud. I watch all your videos, you are simply the best at what you do and at describing scents.

@@SiminShaikh pity, I love Morhaf 😅😅 Though I have just watched a video where you mentioned a rose scent smelling like soap, and I found that Morhaf does tend to go soapy on me sometimes, so I totally understand why you don't like it. (I read somewhere - but I can't recall where! - that rose fragrances can do that).
I have a question about Ebhar, if you don't mind answering - it is considered a predominantly vanilla fragrance, does it lean very gourmand to you? I have a relatively small collection and prefer to keep it that way, with the addition of one (or maybe 2) vanilla fragrances. I want something with layers and complexity, not anything that just smells straight up foodlike (I hope that makes sense).

Oh I LOVE Yara Moi -- there is something inn the drydown that smells so good on me. I also love Sakeena, Haya (though it doesn't last), Khamrah Qahwa, Tharwah Gold, and Ansaam Gold. I cannot find Sumou Gold anywhere!

I left the bottle of teriaq macerate for some months, and used it, I have half of a bottle right now, first I smelled a controversial strong green and leathery scent and wasnt my favorite at all, was really disapointed, but after maceration teriaq becomes a masterpiece, all the notes of the perfum aline somehow in the right way, and I have to smell it everyday now :), so I recommend patience with this one.

Agreed 💯 I'm about to buy my second bottle and start macerating it so it's ready by the time my current one is done. It layers well with so many different things, I feel like I will always have a bottle somewhere. But now I'm thinking about Nebras and wondering if it is worth owning both in a small collection. Lattafa fragrances used to have this signature DNA running through them, I wouldn't be amused if I found myself with a duplicate 😅

You know Khaltat is such an interesting perfume. It has gone into my top category lately .
I love wearing it and call it magic. Whereas AMETHYST is dark magic, Khaltat is sweet magic to me. I have bought a backup bottle.
I realise that this is not a safe blind buy, perfume is so subjective, not only do we all smell scent differently, our body chemistry makes perfume notes smell differently, our scent memories shape our preferences BUT I feel climate, as in our local weather also plays a huge part in our choiced of perfume. To me, Khaltat surprised me in colder temperature. Every time I wear it, I smell my beloved Omi's ( paternal grandmother ) cooking, baking sweet treats. Cinnamon and apples, her plum cake sprinkled with vanilla ( mouth watering just when I think of this), so it evokes an emotional response , filled with love and a sense of Heimweh ( home sickness, longing for my family) but also joy.
But when it dries down, the magic truly begins.
It becomes a touch mysterious, sensuous, and spicy. Then, especially in cool weather, suddenly it tricks me in wondering what is it that I am suddenly smelling?
I am transported back to my first love as I smell his perfume. ❤ Some hint of suede or clean leather, patchouli and just as I am back in the 70s, it is gone. Leaving me with a balsamic spicy note and hint of patchouli.

Men disagree with the statement that Yara is boring. I can't wear that perfume around them😂 I have to swap them like flies. But yes, I like the way you made this video.
Yesss because men are soo predictable 😂😂 even my husband likes the most basic of my perfumes with strawberry notes in it and I'm like this is so basic why don't you like something more unique and rich 😂
@@shyruti I was going to use another word, but yes, they are very predictable. Basically if it smells like food - either super fruity or super dessert-like - it's an obvious win and they will be all over it 😅 That's the cheat-code for anyone who values their compliments. If you wear anything complex and / or layered you will be "that weird-smelling woman" 😅😅
