I feel like it has to do with genetics, so much breeding of HiveWings had them probably lost the ability over time, like with the IceWings, they slowly kind of lost the animus gene by mating with more and more normal IceWings, most likely the HiveWings being telepaths or seeing the future is very, very rare. I just found your channel, and it's really good!
Ooo, I never even thought about the fact they hatch in nests, and not outdoors! My original thought was that maybe the nightwing genes were too watered down to pass on the trait, but these theories do make a lot of sense

I think it's because they don't hatch thier eggs under the moons. That's how normal NightWings get thier powers.
