Those rock scrambles were very challenging not to mention you were doing them carrying your equipment. Very nice video. The views along the way were great. The top was totally in the cloud 😊
It's like you climbed the mountain twice setting up your tripod you're going up to grab it going back down to grab your tripod very beautiful shots must have taken you quite some time
Loved the scale of the forest before you got to the rock scrambles. You look so small tucked into all that lush greenery. About how far into the hike was it before getting to the scrambles?
Yes the forest was cool! It was pretty far into the trail, though the trail wasn’t very difficult to get to that point so it seemed like quick going. If you look at the linked AllTrails map in the video description there should be a landmark calling out exactly where in the trail the scrambles start.
Thanks Chris, This is a tricky question. Do we mean all time or of my hikes I made videos for in 2021. I have been getting ready to do a year in review video and hope to answer that latter question there. Stay tuned!
Hi Adam, mt. Chocorua is my personal favorite, I usually stay overnight at Jim Liberty cabin. I will try the ‘Carter Ledge trail’ next time, thanks for the information.
Hello!!! Do you have any guidance on the champney falls trail? The mileage on the map seems much shorter than mileage per all trails. I want to summit Mt Chocoura via champney falls trail. Thanks! Thank you!
Shut out to the nice group of hikers who said hi to me right before the summit. Hope you catch the video!
Beautiful foliage! Still looks like a pretty fun T25 trail nonetheless! We love the Carter Ledges too :)
Yes it made for fun little scramble right at the end. Couldn't get over all the foliage I saw in October!
Nice scrambling!!!
Loving the fall colors.
Scrambling is one of my favorite parts!

Quite a bit challenging. Thanks for the watch!

Pretty much! haha. I always take my time to make sure its the best possible quality!
I’ve done this hike twice most recently last Friday. It’s definitely an awesome place to hike. I’ve only ever done the piper trail tho
That's a fun trail. My favorite and recommendation is up carter ledge and down piper!
My palms started sweating just watching you go up those rocks....whew!! Then the thought of going back down...yikes!
Luckily there was an alternate trail to take and I took that down instead hahaha.

I love when there is fog, especially in the middle of the woods 🌫
So eerie!
@@AdamHoyt Eerie, but cool 😎
You should hike Eagle Cliffs in Franconia notch next.
I'll add it to my list!
Great video, one question. Of all the Hikes you have done so far which one is your personal favourite?

Sorry I've never summited chocorua from that side so I don't have a map or guidance for you on that. I've only summited from the Southern side.
Destain for the cairn.
Of course!
