I think 10 year battery and solar power doesn't make much difference in comparison .what's your opinion
It's a debatable topic really. Some prefer having a watch for which they never really have to worry about a battery change even if it's 10 years from now. So, they prefer solar.
But if you spend less than 3k for a quartz watch you expect it to run for min 10 years.
I don't know about this solar watch and I don't know what the future holds but with G-shocks, Citizen Ecodrive you would rather go for solar because they last 15-20 years with the original battery as long as they are used regularly

Got my first ever Casio. A F91W in military green. Honestly, I didn't expect it will be this good. The quality Casio is providing for this low price is simply incredible!
Drilled lug holes are cool too. This watch is begging to be compared to the Casio MRW200 series. Thanks for the video.

This video has changed my perception towards Q&Q, this is really amazing timepiece especially I always falls in love when watch has Solar power feature.. Btw the room setup is fantastic, I must've to say that it looks like more connected to audience thn studio setup..

I would have ignored the acrylic crystal issue as my AE1200 also has the dame..but While whatever citizen claims, non opening caseback is definitely are repelent point to purchase this watch.
I still remember it was 2016, i was just introduced to Flipkart and online shopping, somehow convinced my dad to buy me a watch through flipkart and i bought a gshock look alike analog Q&Q watch and wore it non stop till i got another one, its been 8 years since the purchase and the watch is still ticking with no issues, Q&Q is a seriously underrated brand and it also became my first online purchase.
That's so cool. I am reading comments about people's experiences about Q&Q and it makes me wonder why they are so underrated. Maybe Casio has better branding and marketing?

I'm just so amazed by this watch..though I knew it'll be a Q&Q watch but wasn't expecting this. It's more like a eco drige in budget. The bezel action seems better than my MF13 expedition. Also I think it has the second type of solar charging. I see a ring around the dial like we see in our gshock squares. You should also get a citizen garrison you'll love it too!
Eco drive gives you 6 months on full charge and this gives you 3-3.5 months. It has derived from the Ecodrive tech.
I was not sure because my eyesight isn't the best haha. I see the ring too but I am not sure if it's the solar panel. With their smile solar series the ring runs between 10 and 2. Here, it's between 11 and 1, hence the confusion.

Now that you've checked out Q&Q, another brand you could look into is Alba. I've had a few of these watches for more than 13 years now and other than battery replacement, the watches are solid and great to add to your collection.
I am definitely looking into it. It wil be featured soon. If I get an Alba I would rather get a mechanical and I am saving money for that.

Solar generally sucks in budget watches. I had a casio solar watch (non gshock) years back and it was pain to keep the battery charged
The only solar watch I would go for would be the eco drive and the gshock. Both are tried and tested

QnQ is one such brand that gives best after best but doesn't get the deserved recognition. Back during my school day, i remember seeing so many models of QnQ here. Sadly we don't see much models in india anymore. This watch in particular looks really cool and definitely one of the best watch for the price you paid. Gotta check them now 😉
I am sad too that there aren't variety offered for Q&Q in India. The ones that are sold are very basic... we need extra.

The watch does looks decent... But I guess we have almost similar option in Casio... Though this one looks pretty cool for casual wear...
I have got a Q&Q watch back in 2012 and that's still working and in pretty good shape. So this year i decided and got one more ❤.

Saw multiple watches but it's my first time witnessing a completely closed watch... If its solar and battey is on par with casio's then surely it'll last 5+ years.

Absolutely! Yeah, I can excuse the slight slacking considering the price but based on reviews on the product page people haven't had issues despite long-term usage. Quality stuff. After all, it's Citizen 👌

This is a monocoque case which means one cannot open it at all from the back…in case it requires to be opened it has to be done from the front and only by a watch maker…few Seiko Marinemasters watches have the same case type…Cheers…!!!

@@TickTockTreasures Opening from the front means the bezel first has to be removed to access the crystal. Look into whether removing the bezel can damage or bend it considering it is plastic. I'm not sure myself.

I’d love to see a comparison video between these two watches.
That's the plan. I would want to compare them both for which. I have already made a note. It's also unfair though considering the price difference. But it will definitely make for an interesting comparison
@@TickTockTreasures That’s the exact point. How better is this considerably more expensive watch compared to MRW which has bidirectional bezel & also 100m water resistance and looks super cool (one of my favorites in my Casio collection which has now reached 40 !) ?

I would normally complain about a sealed watch being a use and throw item but the price and solar charging negates it somewhat. It should last a few years, enough to make it worth the money. Good find and a comparison with the MRW-200 would be apt.
You are right! I read a few reviews and people have been using these sealed watches for years without issues. And I just have to trust when citizen says it will never need a battery change but if it does someone pointed out that this watch can be potentially opened from the face side. So, there's relief 😄

I believe that the solar mate is for Aussies and the other is for rest of us
I don't know why but the un openable part really irks me even if its solar which don't need to open the case back for battery change. Because of that issue why i didn't buy the ice solar watch anyways good video , glad to see you internet up and running ☺️

Also it looks like a kid's watch , something like a toy. So this watch is for kids usage not for built for men.

Everyone has right to their opinion. It is not a kid's watch unless the kid has a 6 inch wrist ( you would know if you watched the video)
If you are calling it kids watch based on looks and color then you must be calling all the RMs and the Jacob and co watches as kids watches too. Men need to see time too so it works. I forgot to mention but this watch has fallen on tiled floor twice in 3 weeks and it's still good but yes, potentially not durable if dropped multiple times.

Any watch with acrylic crystal is never recommended... That too in 4000 rs price. If someone plans to wear their watch for more than 2yrs, then those accumulated scratches are not gonna give much happiness.

Is the import tax huge for amazon japan? Cause i have ordered from Amazon USA/UK in the past, apart from the currency conversion they also take extra shipping charge (In case their shipping estimate increases) they never refund the extra amount given in case the shipping estimate is low.
Also i pnce ordered from buyee japan, same thing happened , i had to pay import tax to the post office.
It's roughly around 42% of product price plus shipping.
Once the import duties and taxes are paid while placing the order you don't have to pay extra if by chance the taxes exceed the limit already charged and Amazon has written this in fine print under 'shipping'. You must be referring to the order wherein Amazon didn't charge you import duties during ordering but were needed to pay the same on arrival, to your post office.
