It's a debatable topic really. Some prefer having a watch for which they never really have to worry about a battery change even if it's 10 years from now. So, they prefer solar. But if you spend less than 3k for a quartz watch you expect it to run for min 10 years. I don't know about this solar watch and I don't know what the future holds but with G-shocks, Citizen Ecodrive you would rather go for solar because they last 15-20 years with the original battery as long as they are used regularly

I still remember it was 2016, i was just introduced to Flipkart and online shopping, somehow convinced my dad to buy me a watch through flipkart and i bought a gshock look alike analog Q&Q watch and wore it non stop till i got another one, its been 8 years since the purchase and the watch is still ticking with no issues, Q&Q is a seriously underrated brand and it also became my first online purchase.
That's so cool. I am reading comments about people's experiences about Q&Q and it makes me wonder why they are so underrated. Maybe Casio has better branding and marketing?
Got my first ever Casio. A F91W in military green. Honestly, I didn't expect it will be this good. The quality Casio is providing for this low price is simply incredible!
Now that you've checked out Q&Q, another brand you could look into is Alba. I've had a few of these watches for more than 13 years now and other than battery replacement, the watches are solid and great to add to your collection.
I am definitely looking into it. It wil be featured soon. If I get an Alba I would rather get a mechanical and I am saving money for that. A few? For 13 years. That's crazy 💯💯💯
A Japanese youtuber compared them and modded the q&q by putting it on a nato and modding the bezel. (It didn't look necessary to mod the bezel, but he did it) He felt that the Casio was superior in design in its original form but the q&q was preferable after the mods. That was his subjective opinion.
Saw multiple watches but it's my first time witnessing a completely closed watch... If its solar and battey is on par with casio's then surely it'll last 5+ years. Its the only the acrylic crystal which I'd have to think about twice..
This is a monocoque case which means one cannot open it at all from the back…in case it requires to be opened it has to be done from the front and only by a watch maker…few Seiko Marinemasters watches have the same case type…Cheers…!!!

This grey version looks better than the other colors I would have ignored the acrylic crystal issue as my AE1200 also has the dame..but While whatever citizen claims, non opening caseback is definitely are repelent point to purchase this watch.

Absolutely! Yeah, I can excuse the slight slacking considering the price but based on reviews on the product page people haven't had issues despite long-term usage. Quality stuff. After all, it's Citizen 👌
Watch is still expensive considering the materials used Solar generally sucks in budget watches. I had a casio solar watch (non gshock) years back and it was pain to keep the battery charged The only solar watch I would go for would be the eco drive and the gshock. Both are tried and tested
I would normally complain about a sealed watch being a use and throw item but the price and solar charging negates it somewhat. It should last a few years, enough to make it worth the money. Good find and a comparison with the MRW-200 would be apt.

I'm just so amazed by this watch..though I knew it'll be a Q&Q watch but wasn't expecting this. It's more like a eco drige in budget. The bezel action seems better than my MF13 expedition. Also I think it has the second type of solar charging. I see a ring around the dial like we see in our gshock squares. You should also get a citizen garrison you'll love it too!
Eco drive gives you 6 months on full charge and this gives you 3-3.5 months. It has derived from the Ecodrive tech. I was not sure because my eyesight isn't the best haha. I see the ring too but I am not sure if it's the solar panel. With their smile solar series the ring runs between 10 and 2. Here, it's between 11 and 1, hence the confusion. QnQ is one such brand that gives best after best but doesn't get the deserved recognition. Back during my school day, i remember seeing so many models of QnQ here. Sadly we don't see much models in india anymore. This watch in particular looks really cool and definitely one of the best watch for the price you paid. Gotta check them now 😉

Nice review... But I don't think this watch is durable enough and will break with minimum impact. Also it looks like a kid's watch , something like a toy. So this watch is for kids usage not for built for men. Kindly share your thoughts 💭
Everyone has right to their opinion. It is not a kid's watch unless the kid has a 6 inch wrist ( you would know if you watched the video) If you are calling it kids watch based on looks and color then you must be calling all the RMs and the Jacob and co watches as kids watches too. Men need to see time too so it works. I forgot to mention but this watch has fallen on tiled floor twice in 3 weeks and it's still good but yes, potentially not durable if dropped multiple times.

Any watch with acrylic crystal is never recommended... That too in 4000 rs price. If someone plans to wear their watch for more than 2yrs, then those accumulated scratches are not gonna give much happiness.
