Thank you so much. You can use xanthan gum or guar gum as alternatives to Aristoflex AVC, but the texture will differ. Xanthan gum provides a thicker, more gel-like consistency, while guar gum gives a smoother, creamier texture. Both require careful hydration to avoid clumping. To substitute, use about 0.5-1% xanthan or guar gum, mix with a little glycerine, then hydrate in the water phase. Adjust for desired viscosity. The final product will differ in texture, feel, and spreadability compared to using Aristoflex AVC

Yes, you can replace Arisoflex with Carbomer 940 in my face gel. Carbomer 940 requires neutralization, typically with triethanolamine (TEA) or sodium hydroxide, to form a gel. Unlike Arisoflex, it needs a pH adjustment (around 6-7) for optimal thickening. I have a video on my channel demonstrating the process. Be sure to mix Carbomer thoroughly in water and adjust the pH as needed.
