Also the marines are envisioning a conflict that involves mobile units to be dropped or landed onto islands. Heavy equipment can be dropped including towed guns and trucks but tanks take up too much time and airdropping into island war zones can be problematic (especially if there is a shooting war with China)
when I played this on my Xbox 360 decade ago... it was unreal upgrade after bad company 2. the stricking graphics plus traditional destruction level of battlefield... okay.. but than second shock was when multiplayer launched... man that was the phenomenal!
I have played this game 2 years ago, I like this tank mission and fighter mission. but I felt so sad for miller’s end, especially when I found Miller's dinosaur toy😢

Just a historical fact, the thunder run was conducted by the army's 3rd infantry div not the marines.
