Hoping to get this next summer. My husband and I both quilt. Just bought the 880SE and the B215 for our sewing room so need to recover from those expenses....which are well worth it. We love our Berninas!
I already have a longarm quilting machine computerized, also have two Bernina's, it will be interesting to see what the computerized side will be like, knowing how good my bernina's are, I hoping the longarm will be the same. I will be watching to see. About time.I think they should have a 26" throat to come out to keep up with the other brands of longarm machines. Hope they bring out the longer frame as well, say a 14ft. Good luck Bernina.
Really anxious to learn more about the computerized program that is being developed for the Q24 and Q20. I know it's to be ready sometime in 2015, can you be more specific time wise?
The machine appears to be easy to use. Is there a computer option to program quilting templates/designs into the machine? I want to be able to program the size of the top and select a design for the machine to stitch without me guiding it.
Hi Nancy, congratulations! We're happy to hear that you love your machine. Can you please specify what the screw looks like and where it came from? We will then ask our technicians for advise. Kind regards from Switzerland
I have identified the screw - it is the P 10 - comes from the back frame on the machine. Do I need to remove the machine from the frame to get it back - would that also prevent the machine from moving front to back?? Thank you so much for getting back to me.
Hi Nancy, it is really hard to tell from the distance how to best proceed in this matter ... Could you please email your contact details and a picture of the screw to youtube@bernina.com? We will then make sure our local support organization gets in touch with you. Are we right in assuming that you live in the US? Kind regards from Switzerland
+Terry Boyd, the Q20 is the sit down model. It might have been a typo that you saw. You should be able to find info on Bernina's website or here on their RUclips page.
***** The closest dealer is 3 hours away so I do not have a bernina Dealer. Besides, the prices are fixed on your machines so no matter where one goes the prices is the same. Why cannot you at least provide a price range.
And yet Bernina's tech support is nonexistent. My wife's machine keeps skipping stitches. She's tried everything in the very limited troubleshooting section of the owner's manual, and nothing helped. When she called Bernina's "contact us" number and described her problem, she was told to talk to the local store that sold the machine to her! No attempt whatsoever at offering any help at all, from the people who make the machine and know the most about it. For $11,000 you'd expect a LOT more. No more Berninas for this family.
Hi SomeOldGuy, thank you for your comment and thank you for choosing a BERNINA longarm machine! We are sorry that you are dissatisfied with our services. It is correct though that the retailer who sold the product is responsible for supporting you and your wife. He has been trained for this and will be happy to support you. In fact, the network of well-trained specialist dealers is one of BERNINA's strengths and part of our strategy. We hope that the problem with the skipped stitches will be solved soon and that your wife will enjoy quilting again.
+Aynge Mackay Thank you for your kind comment. We're glad you like the video! Please contact your nearest BERNINA dealer to get a price quote. There are variables associated with the price such as delivery, set up, trade-in, training etc., which is why we don't communicate the price online. You can find all Q 24 dealer on www.bernina.com/dealersearch.

Why can't I find any information on the Q29 sit down long arm? I know it exists, I've seen pictures of it on the Facebook page, Men Who Quilt....
