at 7:00 left side on container you passed a bag next to pile of wood panels
Kage for the trades the most valuable thing after seeker stuff is seeds so its better you start to farming :) (Also vegetables has good value, so you dont need to harvest for seed everytime)
Attacking bears at a distance, they will run, which has happened since Beta 5. If you are close enough that they will attack you they won't run if you attack them back, I suspect if you are close enough that they stand upright, they won't run
7:00 I saw the bag as you are turning around, slow down and I’ll see it 😂 right on the corner on top of the container
One more tip - do not eat apples. Make apple slices, they fill you up more. Also they're quite good to sell.
I'm pretty sure you get the full 4 hours of burn time from 8 firewood the moment you start the fire, you can't go past 3 hours once it's already burning.
Yes you did miss the bagthap person was talking about - its a long bag on the edge of container you did run jump on behind pile of planks on right from spot you did jump on
If you agro bear and than atack he will try to eat you but otherwise he will run
You cant cary dead bears or dears
1 piece of food gives you 4 scraps or components
If you have any grapes, ketchup or mustard use it for trade, but apples first harvest (you can stack pieces of the same apple) and first check food merchant if he has any apple since 1 slice and whole apple has the same value - merchant sometimes have 2 apples in stock so if you exchange 3 slices for 2 apples well even 1 apple for 2 slices you will get good profit.
If you ever start growing cropps remember that seeds have very high trade value, you dont need to make cropp plots just pick pots you left in greenhouses area - 2 ceramic and 4 cloth ones
I wonder if you can break old lockers up for scrap? Theres a ton around the map i leave behind. It use to allow us to from what i remember.. Ridiculous you cant break the cars down anymore... :(
For butchering bears, I found this time around the axe is showing as being the best to use for cutting up for meat

One more thing - next time you're in the trader compound you may pay the mechanics a visit.
You should have tried selling the guts and hide amongst other things as well probably worth way more than the meat

IRL Kage I wouldn’t take on a bear in a survival situation. Not only can you be killed/injured while hunting bear, They carry several nasty parasites including tapeworms. Unless your well versed in preparing bear the reward is not worth the risk. Polar bear liver can kill you and several of your friends with a massive dose of vitamin A.
I’d rather go for an elk, deer, fish!
Only take three shot to kill a bear remember that kage 😂😂😊
With filing cabinets I use f to place an item / items on top of each one, so I have a visual label for what is inside

Bears do run away if you too far away and you can't carry them anymore
You can also use regular gas for the generator you build.
What i have read is you can tame some of the bears, ones that are sleeping. One youtuber said the bears you can tame are normally close to base location not sure , but i have a few sleeping bears around. If you hear a growl then its a mean bear lol. Not sure what a tame bear will mean. When they are asleep you put meat in there ("pockets" lol)
On that ranger tower you went to before your bear hunt, there was an additional machete next to the posted plant
You can build chicken coop for the chicken to have some eggs
@ 7:05 right as you start over bridge connecting containers look at left end of stack of wood you will see the bag
You not only missed the shotgun you missed the backpack on the road 😅
the mining nodes respawn if you quit an reload the game. its what i do and put a few forges next to the mine base i set up

Kage, why dont you put the grey lockers on the rails of the truck and put a bed in your camper, so you dont have to run in and out of camper. Also if you flip the truck with camper attached, you will loose your truck or your camper. I lost my camper with all my lockers inside. If you use the jack with camper attached, it will fly in the sky

have you tried doing the merchant reset with the food vendor? as it might work for the salt.
if you pause at 7:05 you'll see the green bag that I was talking about. it's right in front of you, on the red shipping container to the left of the pile of wood. at least I think thats the bag I was thinking of. it's easy to mix up land marks on the map.
I dont know if its a guaranteed spawn or if shotgun spawns can be random

Easy to kill bear with simple spear.
Also Kage using animal fat for generator is really wasting time. 1.5L animal oil is nothing to compare with 4-5L gassoline that you can collect from just one car.
Every time I try to get the flamethrower it disappears. Don't know how to fix that.
