Nuggets should wait for the end of the season and sign some playable min contracts instead of corpses of Čanćar, DJ... Should trade Zeke,Pickett, Šarić and 2031 1st unprotected for Nick Richards and Cody Martin, something like that, realistic upgrade. Maybe the best way is to save that pick, attach Watson/Strrawther and dump Murray.
MPJ for Lavine would be, at best, a lateral move. makes no sense to shake up your core for that. Butler on the other hand continues to be one of the best all-around players in the league. **huge** upgrade for them if they can swing it.
Denver gets: Cameron Johnson Bogdan Bogdanovic Day'Ron Sharpe Brooklyn gets: De'Andre Hunter Larry Nance Jr. Zeke Nnaji Atlanta gets: Michael Porter Jr. Dorian Finney-Smith
Nuggs do not need to change personal - they need to change approach. Westbrook should start at 1 n let Murray play 2 spot. Murray’s shooting diminishes with a heavy work load. Keep him fresh by moving him to the 2 spot.
Seriously, this is ridiculous!! The Nuggets are who they are, Jamal Murry playing bad is their fault. The Nuggets decided to pay all these guys too much money!!
Honestly, only Cam Johnson seems like an actual upgrade for Denver. That being said, I wonder if any GMs are calling the Nuggets to ask what they'd trade Jokic for just for the lols :D
I really like the idea of trading for Cam Johnson. Most if not all good teams looking to upgrading their roster should be calling up Brooklyn with their best offers
It isn't a no trade clause. LeBron and Beal are the only 2 players in the league with a no trade clause right now. Murray just can't be traded this year because he signed an extension this past offseason. Same with Gordon.
@@SportingLogically And because his contract is unmoveable, worse than Lavine at this point. If Murray starts playing well, then the Nuggets would want to keep him, and if he plays bad, no one wants to trade for him. Murray is an anchor around Joker's neck right now, and they need to just pray that he gets his mojo back.
I don't think Nuggets trade for anything, they might sign some free agents but overall I don't think they will let MPJ go, Denver isn't a team that will trade for a big star, they like to develop players from young age, outside of AG all of Denver's first team has been drafted and developed by them.
If we can get Cam and a good bench player, that would be awesome. Zack is a decent option as well but we definitely cannot give away any picks for him, though the biggest peoblem for the Nuggets is the bench, we need 2 good bench players that can shoot.
Probably the best video on the Nuggets trading topic I've seen so far, good vid man! Shoulda added 30 seconds of filler so you could hit the 10 min mark and close the video tho lmaoo
Lavine and Cam Johnson are the two players that would benefit the Nuggets most. Maybe an Aaron Wiggins or Isaiah Joe for defense. Jimmy Butler would possibly be the worst "good" pick up they could make. We saw what happened last year in the playoffs when Jokic doesn't have adequate spacing. You can't make the spacing worse and expect to get better overall. And if they resign Jimmy, they'll again be stuck in the same problem they are right now, NO MONEY. As far as I know, there is absolutely no way to get him, but Myles Turner would be the perfect player for the Nuggets in my mind.
Trading mpj for Lavine doesn't add up much ,mpj is still young and got time for improvement compared to Zack where as our main focus is to get a good bench and proper backup centre and losing the second best offensive player for nuggets will be a huge loss and we will suffer a lot it will take time to build chemistry with lavine where as mpj got the chemistry already
Losing MPJ would hurt us more than help us. He gives us size and is one of the few players who can spread the floor when he gets going. Not to mention team chemistry… this year has been a struggle because the chemistry isn’t there yet. Adding more players who have to learn our style of play is going to make it harder on everyone. That being said we still do need help and if we can pull of Zack Levine for a good deal that doesn’t involve losing Russ or any of the starters, we’ll be golden. I’d be willing to trade our future for right now. That’s why we signed Russ. We need more players to fill pivotal roles. Go in debt, do whatever it takes, we have a chance at winning so long as Jokic can keep up this pace.
On twitter DEN fans are trashing Lavine 😂. They don’t understand how good he is. It’s really insane how much 1 or 2 down seasons ppl can make ppl forget how good a guy is
i'm not an expert but i think Murray's contract becomes tradeable next year right? personally, I think you see what this team can manage this year without major trades (if you can get Cam Johnson without MPJ then sure but I think that's unlikely) then if Murray doesn't come back to some level of form look to trade him for a backup creator, or proper depth. When Jokic is on the floor the Nuggets have the best offence in the league so if they want an offensive solution the greatest impact is probably going to come from a 6-man, or high-quality bench centre not a starter.
FANS KEEP SAYING TO TRADE MPJ when MPJ is way better than LAVINE right now...MPJ is basically the only shooter on that team and you want to trade him for a guy that isnt a shooter
They could bring some Euroleague players. Would be fun to have Avramović on. But his deadline was long gone before. Sad for them not getting him. He is a great pick over all... Although I'm not really sure how would he fit in, but still sad just because he was a great pick...
I’d love to see you make a video on the current state of the NBA. Ratings way down, people seem to be tired of the load management, 50 threes a game, and lack of defense. Been seeing other content creators voice their concerns about the nbas future if things don’t change. I myself find it very hard to watch todays version of basketball. Everyone plays the same, just taking turns shooting 35 foot threes.
No. I want to see them play at 100% of their playmaking abilities. There only is one ball. You've been raised by a generation of KD, Lebrons where a superstar HAS to be paired with another. But if you're going to play that game: a shooter like KD or even Steph who is used to having Draymond play a Jokić playmaking role would complement Jokić or Luka more. They'd be averaging 20 assists.
@@tracyelsinger1088Mike is the third or fourth option if AG is hot. I do not see LaVine getting used to being forgotten. Also Mike is tall, rebounds and gives nuggets a huge front line. Love the narrative on murray is different now When comparing jokic to embiid everyone brought up murray (zero all star appearances) murray has never been more than a decent lead guard that can get hot for a gm or two.. crazy how the narrative has changed
I think they could do something good with a guy like Walker Kessler or another defensive-minded big that would be a lob Target for Nicola and Westbrook.

I think the Jimmy trade is worth the risk just because there aren't a lot of teams that are contendors that could sign him. There's the magic and possibly the warriors if they don't get another piece by the deadline and also the T-wolves if they get rid of randle in the off season, but I don't see them or Jimmy being interested in a reunion. It would kind of depend on what';s most important to Jimmy at the moment, money or winning. As for Cam Johnson, I see him as a straight up upgrade over MPJ. I've been a big fan of his for a couple of years, both of those guys, but Cam Johnson just adds more. He's a more willing passer than Micheal 'The possession ends here' Porter Jr, a far better defender, as efficient if not more so and a far better defender. I think he adds more fluidity to the denver offense and is a better upgrade than people are predecting
i think i'd rather have an improving MPJ at 36 m rather than lavine at 43 m. i think going for someone cheaper like clarkson, brogdon, sexton would do them better. they might also need a big like jval to play the paint to give jokic some rest during games. but a 6th man-type guard would be the best fit imo
Any team that adds any first round picks for butler are just dumb, dude is old and injury prone with an illusion he’s still gonna tap playoff jimmy status.
I hope the nuggets can trade Jamal for Zack Lavine. To match that salery the bulls would need to send a 10mil a year guy, and then they can get that guy in the trade package with someone else and get a decent role player. Of course in the ideal world the Nuggets would trade Jamal for Dennis Schroder and 2 more decnet guys, but that probably wont happen. Anyway right now I think trading Murray for Zack or whoever else is a better option than trading MPJ. Mike has size and brings rebounding, he's playing better than ever this season nad his contract is much better. Murray signed for a 52mil a year, and for context Curry is on a 54mil a year contract at the moment...
Jimmy is the guy to get. He understands basketball at higher level and much better defender than porter. Also can get you mych needed bucket. Thats 3 players on your team that can get a closing bucket. No other team has that in the NBA. Go all in for jimmy. Murray, jimmy, peyton Watson, gordon and jokic is an elite starting 5 on all levels
That guy handled the ball for Miami 18 or 20 seconds out of 24 seconds in the playoffs turned the ball over missed the shots etc no ball movement to other team/mates
Trading Porter would be a disaster. Put Murray on the bench, start Westbrook and try to get Porter 20 shots a night. Murray could come off the bench to rest Westbrook. The problem is that Murray isn't playing well, and you don't fix that problem by trading Porter for anybody else. Porter has been underutilized for quite awhile. Make him the #2 option and see how that works.
I'd like to see what this looks like. Personally MPJ has seemed to me for years that he doesn't give a damn about ball now that he's been paid. Maybe you're right!
I am for keeping Nuggets as they are. Murray is getting better in recent games, showing flashes of his old self. MPJ is getting more aggressive with better results. Aaron Gordon is also getting better from injuries. Westbrook has been a great help, to my surprise. I am very optimistic about Braun and Watson becoming major forces. They are beginning to gel as a team. Bring in Butler would be a disaster. He has created bad vibes wherever he was. The talk of his trade is happening because he is wearing out the welcome in Miami. His addition will disrupt the good things happening in Denver.
@@anthonykim8122 you can’t keep the nuggets as they are right now. Joker needs some help. He can’t keep scoring 40-50 every game. Lol you gona wear him out
At least with Jimmy Butler Denver would have options and CAP space next off season. It helps them get out of a bad MPJ contract and would allow them to add some much-needed depth this summer. The Nuggets issue on offense is the second team, not the starters. They don't have a single player off the bench who can get their own shot on a consistent basis and they regularly blow double digit leads every time Jokic rests.
Mpj for cam is too laterial, mpj for butler makes spacing/ offense worse. Mpj for lavine may work offensively, but for size, that would kill their team. They needa trade zeke and some picks for another piece.
Nuggets need shooting and defense. AG and Murry just resigned can't trade them. Porter is one of the bright spots. Realistically only bench trades make sense.
We want them to make moves but they can't until the summer. Murray is the guy that needs to be moved, he is not playing well on offense and is a huge liability on defense. MPJ has gotten a lot better at going to the bucket and is a solid rebounder so he isn't limited to just a spot up 3 point shooter anymore.
@@mh_golfer I also don't think people who don't watch the team a lot understand how valuable his size is to them on defense The lynchpin of their defense is if/when you pull Jok out you still have a big long wing (MPJ or AG) on the backside and as a rim protector and rebounder Something no one thinks about but coaches but if your center is at the three point line you better have some wings who can rebound
If we get Zach LaVine in Denver who picks up the slack from Michael Porter's rebounding? Who plays small forward? This might be a really bad deal for Denver. I do not trust their management whatsoever so I figure this is going to make things worse.😢
At this point the only thing I like, is the utah trade floated, not even involving starters. Yes Jamal is the problem but he can't be traded and no one we can get is better than MPJ without a worse contract. So with utah, we trade 3 guys on the bench for Clarkson and a future waiver. Saric, Nnaji and Tyson, for Clarkson and mills looks good. Get rid of 2 bad contracts to Utah who use those kind of lengthy 3 point shooters and we get a good bench guy in Clarkson. Saric and Nnaji can have value, as forwards or wings that can shoot. The problem is Denver needs them to be Centers, which they never will be. I would love to give a pick to offload Jamal but as stated that can't happen, so with westbrook, the starters are good enough, its the bench that needs to be fixed if Jamal can't go.

The floor filled up with Westbrook, Murray, Lavine, Gordon, Jokic. Talk about an offensive powerhouse holy.
Maybe if it was 2008, it'd be a good lineup. But it isn't.
First of all, DJ not playing is still a very important player. But he's actually played this year and been better than hoped.
Exactly! Just wait and ad more depth. That also gives your players more opportunity to develope
They need big and 3 point shooter. They are NOT trading MPJ.
LOL LaVine travelled twice in the clip.
Jokic has to agree with trading MPJ and I don't think that is going to happen!
Thats why I watch this channel its realistic and data based not hype and clickbait
Glad you enjoy!
😂
This thumbnail is literally clickbait
As the guy literally click baits more and more
How much he pay you?
MPJ for Lavine would be, at best, a lateral move. makes no sense to shake up your core for that.
Butler on the other hand continues to be one of the best all-around players in the league. **huge** upgrade for them if they can swing it.
Just like always the heat will ask too much for the trade
Lavine is all star calibre fym?
Lavine is a better scorer. Faster and can get his own shot.
@plumeria66 Murray better play maker. Lavine has Jordan athletism. Russ may have to start PG
Jokic second in the league in points rebounds assists and 10th in steals!!
Unreaaaallll
nuggets would be stupid to trade MPJ and a first for jimmy, IMO. they should wait until next year to trade
Russ is actually a good piece. It’s the others around under performing . Defensively and offensively.
I think we would get some healing if we saw Zach Lavine throwing some lobs to Aaron Gordon.
Nuggets better make the right decision and not let the greatest player in the nba right now go to waste they better find good role player for Jokic
Or else what? They already got a ring.
@younglove3362 more rings 1 not enough
@skyfall9549
One is more than none. None is what a lot of players have. And it's more than enough for him to claim being a champion.
U Put Butler on the Nuggets and I'm tuning in because the focus and drive of 2 leaders of that calibur is going to be must see t.v.
Denver gets: Cameron Johnson Bogdan Bogdanovic Day'Ron Sharpe
Brooklyn gets: De'Andre Hunter Larry Nance Jr. Zeke Nnaji
Atlanta gets: Michael Porter Jr. Dorian Finney-Smith
Nuggets hurt if they get rid of Porter. Won’t happen
@@cjswhitebo1882 MPJ is a bad defensive player, a bad passer prone to injuries and inconsistent and for that money he is not valuable
I've been wanting the Nuggets to trade for Bogdanovich. I'd love that trade. I think MPJ for Bogey and Capela or Nance is a great trade.
Lavine averaging near 30 on the nuggets. Jokic catching him from 3 all game. Lavine off ball in the motion of offense is a threat.
Nuggs do not need to change personal - they need to change approach. Westbrook should start at 1 n let Murray play 2 spot. Murray’s shooting diminishes with a heavy work load. Keep him fresh by moving him to the 2 spot.
Did you seen JM %.His bigest problem is score
I really like the MPJ - Cam Johnson trade over the others.
This stems from MPJ averaging 6 points in the Minnesota series last season
Murray isnt blameless
He definitely was streaky at best.
So trading an injury prone scorer (Porter) for another injury prone scorer (Lavine) makes perfect sense... right? right?
Hey brp just keep doing solid research work. I watch alot of basketball channels and you are the most solid and unbiased.
Seriously, this is ridiculous!! The Nuggets are who they are, Jamal Murry playing bad is their fault. The Nuggets decided to pay all these guys too much money!!
Only Bogdan Bogdanovic another Serbian genious.
We have to do something, remember Barkley said don't waste Jokers prime years!!!
Zach Lavine does have an expensive contract, but when healthy, he actually produces.
Honestly, only Cam Johnson seems like an actual upgrade for Denver. That being said, I wonder if any GMs are calling the Nuggets to ask what they'd trade Jokic for just for the lols :D
Is he better than MPJ? He's cheaper but he's also smaller and so much worse rebounder
I really like the idea of trading for Cam Johnson. Most if not all good teams looking to upgrading their roster should be calling up Brooklyn with their best offers
mpj for cam johnson is the lateral move of all lateral moves
I will never understand why we are keeping jamal murray, i hope we dont get jimmy butler
Can't trade Murray until next year
All this would be so much easier if freakin murray didnt have that no trade clause. I would ask him to wave it.
He doesn't have a no trade clause. You are misinformed.
If things don’t improve, they will be stuck in futility with Jokic putting up numbers with minimal success
Let's wait for the playoffs before we get to talking like that@@kingdollaz302
They need spot up shooters that’s it, give jokic two more shooters then they get a second ring
If we can get Cam and a good bench player, that would be awesome. Zack is a decent option as well but we definitely cannot give away any picks for him, though the biggest peoblem for the Nuggets is the bench, we need 2 good bench players that can shoot.
butler would be the wrong fit... it would be a mistake... they need 2 decent pieces, not another CENTER OF ATTENTION
Ben Simmons is available.
Get Jockitch some help!
They need some ppl to fill the KCP and Bruce Brown void...
Ag and Lavine on the same team would be wild. Dunk contest every night!
On twitter DEN fans are trashing Lavine 😂. They don’t understand how good he is. It’s really insane how much 1 or 2 down seasons ppl can make ppl forget how good a guy is
Give Bogdan for Nnaji Šarić and Holmes
Yep it will be better
Jebo te Bogdan, kakav Bogdan, ti si decko kreten!
i'm not an expert but i think Murray's contract becomes tradeable next year right? personally, I think you see what this team can manage this year without major trades (if you can get Cam Johnson without MPJ then sure but I think that's unlikely) then if Murray doesn't come back to some level of form look to trade him for a backup creator, or proper depth. When Jokic is on the floor the Nuggets have the best offence in the league so if they want an offensive solution the greatest impact is probably going to come from a 6-man, or high-quality bench centre not a starter.
I thought players that signed an extension could be traded on January 15. I could be wrong. Not that anyone would want Murray this season anyways
...shots fired.
To who?
@@SportingLogicallyto other nuggets player I think
FANS KEEP SAYING TO TRADE MPJ when MPJ is way better than LAVINE right now...MPJ is basically the only shooter on that team and you want to trade him for a guy that isnt a shooter
Jamal Murray has improved recently.
Nuggets cannot improve. They also cannot lose MPJ.
They could bring some Euroleague players. Would be fun to have Avramović on. But his deadline was long gone before. Sad for them not getting him. He is a great pick over all... Although I'm not really sure how would he fit in, but still sad just because he was a great pick...
We Definitely need help on the perimeter
Bring in time lord. Helps them with what they need the most
Not both 2016 slam dunk champions on the same team it's going to be so great
Nuggets has a good core team. What they lack is bench ppl
@@echzen023 they missing 1 more solid core. I don’t trust Murray at this point. He more off than on with consistency.
Lavine has been really good this year also
I’d love to see you make a video on the current state of the NBA.
Murray is struggling only averaging 2 points less than he normally does? Come on now
All nuggets need is luka doncic. Theyre good friends already, i can see some thick chemistry between them
The defense would be awful.
This isnt 2k bruh lmao
@@vlada pretty much every successful superstar has played with another elite player. And that’s thought the entire history of the sport
@@loudimes5502 LMAO !!!
MPJ must stay. He is part of team core.
I dunno man, he's so inconsistent. When his shot is falling he's a perfect fit but I've seen too many cold spells from him in the playoffs
@tracyelsinger1088 Stil young. He will be only better.
@@tracyelsinger1088Mike is the third or fourth option if AG is hot. I do not see LaVine getting used to being forgotten. Also Mike is tall, rebounds and gives nuggets a huge front line.
Cam Johnson has been a 3-4th option before, shoots 3s very well and is better than LaVine on defense. He does more things.
I like the nets cam Johnson trade
Love the narrative on murray is different now
When comparing jokic to embiid everyone brought up murray (zero all star appearances) murray has never been more than a decent lead guard that can get hot for a gm or two.. crazy how the narrative has changed
I think they could do something good with a guy like Walker Kessler or another defensive-minded big that would be a lob Target for Nicola and Westbrook.
Murray and Porter contracts are too expensive. Nuggets need to lower them and they need more bench players, more options. They don’t need to take superstar
If the Nuggets trade for Zach LaVine the Jokic title window with Denver is over. There’s no other GM stupid enough to trade for him.
Bro Jimmy Buckets is a steal for any team. Man is aging and has injury risk but if he’s healthy you’re going deep. Jimmy is a solidified game changer
🧢🧢 that bum only plays hard in playoffs or when he wants new contract, L Attitude stay in miami
If he only plays hard in the playoffs or when he wants a contract and that’s where the nuggets are going….. I don’t see the problem..
@ Jimmy L attitude, MPJ better
@@TonyMontana-f2h7u stop talking like a kid, L personality lmaoooo, if you have a player that goes hard on playsoff what's wrong with it? you're dumb af
Old, always injured, can't shoot and wants a big contract? Riley knows better than to give him a big contact. Teams would be insane to give him that.
Jimmy isn't handing it off to bam anymore. Now it's jokic. Also Jimmy can cover jokic on defense in those pick and rolls
Murray said he got other priorities outside of bball
He had a baby earlier this year.
@@vlada So did Joker?
Oh my, Lavine and Gordon together?
I think Mpj for Ingram is a pretty decent trade
Lol you gona wear him out
Both of these trades would be monumentally stupid.
Id go with jimmy.. Hard worker, tough and pretty solid player... He would be a good add for the roster..
MPJ is not expendable he's the best 3 point shooter the nuggets have.
Nuggets need shooting and defense. AG and Murry just resigned can't trade them. Porter is one of the bright spots. Realistically only bench trades make sense.
It’s crazy cuz you have nuggets fans on twitter that don’t want to make any moves 😭
Nuggets my 2nd team and I also believe we don't think we need any major moves. Especially not for lavine
@@mh_golfer I also don't think people who don't watch the team a lot understand how valuable his size is to them on defense
The lynchpin of their defense is if/when you pull Jok out you still have a big long wing (MPJ or AG) on the backside and as a rim protector and rebounder
Something no one thinks about but coaches but if your center is at the three point line you better have some wings who can rebound
