This is a second upload as I majorly messed up the first one. (Thanks to the guy who very quickly pointed the mega turbo brain fart out to me)

What comes to my mind is that this plane in its current state is only so good because of how multipathing works in the game. If we would keep all weaponry in the game as is, but remove the "Invulnerability as a lawnmower" effect, it would suffer quite drastically.

Problem to lock gripen is seems to be a bug. Like low heat signature and all doesn't really matter in WT at a moment because it is not how seeker head for IR missiles works. All of them essentially have 3000 meters "guaranteed" lock range regardless of aspect and slightly different one for afterburning targets from different aspects but with gripen it sometimes just not working as intended
I checked out this channel after seeing you in an Enduring Confrontation: Afghanistan in the SU-27, you did mention the new radar RWR aspects that were added i believe. Great videos so far, it is very refreshing for me to find a good channel centered around sim, keep it up!

@nimbal3304 I was flying a mig29 (9-13) at the time, I've just recently researched the SU-27 a couple days ago, I'm about to jump into that whole experience with the plane so I've watched your SU-27 videos etc. Need to find a good reading source or instructional video on basic radar pattern types and HMD, RWR modes etc. The whole concept is extremely unfamiliar with me, I've been flying mig21's too long!
Sometimes i wish sim was as popular as other modes but then i remember that sim you need to uses your brain alot more and its not really newbie friendly either so it makes sense why alot of people stay away

The mirage 2k5F is a pretty good counter to the Gripen. I’ve lost only a few 1v1s to the Gripen solely because I either ran out of ammo which happens a lot or get 9M. Yea also the mirage 2k5F got a radar buff. It now has All aspect TWS with 120 horizontal azimuth (if I’m saying it correctly)
Ive personally had next to no issues bitch slapping mirage players in a dogfight (5F). and i wouldnt exect every single one to be a shit player or should i be concerned.

Eurofighter, Rafale, SU-30 will even the playing field for maneuverability from the Gripen.
And if we get the F-22 then..... well..... gg.
SU-30 is a fat SU-27 lol. And the thrust vectoring SU-30s are just another way to bleed your speed even faster in the Flanker.
@@TheDAWinz yea but 3D thrust vectoring at stall speeds will be cracked af. The rafale and Typhoon are def great balance for the busted Gripen FM.

yea its great italy gets a top tier jet but not really fan of adding gripens all around, especially now people talking about thailand subtree after f5 got added so that really takes out all my excitement to get the gripen which i originally thought it would be something unique for sweden
