Cutlery.... I notice a lot that it's a very common practice for Americans to use plastic cutlery and paper plates on an everyday occasion, which I can honestly say I don't like it. 😐 there is no need apart from celebration times, birthday Christmas etc, it annoys me because of the landfill and the plastic getting in the sea, is it sheer laziness using these things ? I don't know as it's Definatly NOT a thing in England🇬🇧 except for celebration times, BUT why don't you buy decent plastic cutlery from Costco but wash it after each use, and I don't blame you if you use disposable plates when the kitchen is being done, just a thought make a lot of frozen pre prepped meals to go in the slow cooker/ instant pot whilst renovation is going on. 💐❤
Silverware disappears very fast in this house. 6 adults. 2 young adults, 2 middle age and 2 elderly. Where does it go? My husband and I moved in with his parents. We noticed that they needed silverware, plates and glasses. So we went to the Goodwill and bought some of everything. Still have plenty of glasses and plates. But please tell me where the silverware went. Already need to get more.

As an American, nobody here cares. That’s the simple honest answer. Nobody cares about things unless they are personally affected by it.
