I hope it saves you some time. I also have a video on the channel that demonstrates how to submit cards vs. LOTW for DXCC applications (in case you need it).
Honestly, I did not realize that logbook have such capabilities. Mike revealed many other things that i did not know. Now, i have to research for more instructions on Logbook. However, I am impatiently waiting for the release of the new version with the new database.
Mike-thanks for this. An idea for a more advanced user video would be the OUTGOING QSL problem especially if you are being selective on QSL cards and need to determine which to send by criteria such as ATNO, new band DXCC or state, and how to do so interactively within HRD. Would Love to have the secret to OUTGOING QSL management (non LOTW etc) Thanks de WO8USA🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
We offer a 40% recurring discount to those who commit to the auto-renewal program. It's the only time we offer a 40% discount. So to cancel the auto-renewal, it's just a simple matter of contacting the sales team via email or the support site.
That depends on which award we're talking about. If it's DXCC, those move from Not Submitted, to Submitted, to Granted as a result of the LOTW download. All other awards must be updated manually in the Awards tab of the relevant QSOs (We'll add others that come via LOTW, but there's no other method for other awards via download; must be manually updated). I may do a video on that. There's information and illustrations about how this works on the support site here: support.hamradiodeluxe.com/a/solutions/articles/51000052700
It goes to Granted once the ARRL approves it in their awards tracking system (which updates LOTW). Once you believe that's happened, download ALL your LOTW records by changing the date of the download back to "the beginning of your log." That will pick up all the Granted values they have in the system.
Thanks for sharing. I'll be able to go back and reference this when needed. I've got the program but have not used it, going to have to watch a lot of videos, probably to understand it N7ZXG
Nicely done Mike. Will have a look at my own physical cards. 73 and thank you. 😊

I share your desire for the new Logbook.
Always learning something new. Thanks Mike!
You're welcome... thanks for watching!
Thanks Mike! Looking forward to the future with HRD.
Thanks for watching. I hope it was helpful.

Yeah, I can do that. Adding it to the list.
I wish you guys had a link to stop auto renewals on your website. Do you guys do that on purpose to dissuade folks from cancelling?

@@HamRadioDeluxe I did and it got cancelled....
Hi, I assume that this is not the new logbook, or will it be different whenever the new release appears?
No. This is in the current version. You can do this right now. It will work the same in the new version.
Good Video Mike - thank you. How does one get the entries changed from Submitted to Granted? That's still my mistry. 73 de vk3dxc

@@HamRadioDeluxe So I'm doing the ARRL DXCC (HRD) award, which moved the QSL from Not Submitted to Submitted, but it's not going to Granted.

Sure! Let us know if there's a topic you'd like to see a video on and I'll try to create something.
@@HamRadioDeluxe thank you !
@@HamRadioDeluxe please a video about adding award and configuring definitions.......
@@petervanijperen Okay... for creating new "awards" then? I can do that.
@@HamRadioDeluxe thank you for doing this. It helps to understand all the features in HRD.
