Update #2 to my ongoing work on upgrading the textures of ROAD TO THE INFINITY 2. Here, I push AKF-11 (UNION SAVIOR V12 Engine version, unlocked by beating the 13th GPX as Hayato) to it's limits by racing the likes of Knight Schumacher (Exsuperion Z/A-8), Hayato from the Future (AKF-0/G), and Phil Fritz (Al-Zard NP-1).
From the previous video, the upgrades are pretty clear - the AKF-11's booster texture has been upgraded so that it matches the look of AKF-0's from this game - it's clear that they didn't have enough time between Infinity 1 & 2 to fully remake Super Asurada AKF-11's model like they did AKF-0's. Additionally, the gear counter, as well as the individual gear lights, and the baseplate of the Mode Switch on the tachometer have all been upgraded to a 1024x resolution texture. The speedometer has also been further improved on, also on a 1024x texture, but most importantly, I carried over my redesigned changes and merely made them better and more fitting for the general look of the speedometer.
Work on improving the textures continues, there's significantly less for me to do now, but there's still enough to keep me busy with upgrading the game!
