Everytime I look at my calendar and bumperstickersI will remember this wonderful drive! Thank you Colette! I can’t wait to receive it!! Beautiful Ireland❤️🇮🇪❤️
Thank you so much for this! I miss Ireland so very much and am so happy you share the beautiful Ireland scenery with us❤️ you’ve made my day a bit better
Hi Colette- since I preordered my calendar- I will remember this video and the drive to the post while it is hanging on my wall. Thank you for the drive. You can be my tour guide any day! 🙏🌎❤️
I long to move out of the city to a calmer place full of green. Growing up, our garden was always full of vegetables and herbs. I remember my mother sitting under the old Oak tree in the garden to 'gain strength', she used to say. Thank you for taking us with you on your journey.
Thank you for the lovely morning drive Collette everything looks beautiful and peaceful In my area all the local post offices have gone and the main one has been closed and put in the WH Smith shop I'm not happy but What can you do even if you do support the local ones they have gone Blessings to you Colette and Jack xx
Thank you for the tour Collete! The landscape is beautiful! Thank you for taking the time to describe some of the historical landmarks as well. My family is originally from Ballyfarnon and I aim to take a trip there in the near future.
Dear Colette , pity that the post 🏤 offices are closed . We in Germany have the same problems , many offices ans saving 🏦 banks are affected they are closed . This is due to the interest rate policy of the EU . Than you for the wonderful video. You live in a wonderful area. Best regards and many hugs 🤗 for you my friend Jack and your loved ones from Conny Braun and cat 🐈 Felix from Germany . 🌍🤗🌳🌺🌸🐝🌼🌲🍂🐈🐶☕️❤️🌎
I love and appreciate the beautiful drives and the history. My ancestors are from Ireland and it’s my dream to visit some day. From New York. Thank you for sharing. Xoxo. Love to jack as well.
How did I miss this. This landscape is so similar to where I used to live, minus castles of course. It lifts my spirits to come along on your drive. I'm always telling people about your website and blog. Especially those who long for a more ethical lifestyle. The most important words in light of all the eco hype these days is PLANT TREES! I love that you actually know the trees in your area. Blessings.
Hi Collette--- Beautiful area of Ireland!! All of ireland is so beautiful. Does Jack go for the ride with you? He's so sweet. Thanks for the tour. The news here in the US is saying that the storm will be bad for Ireland and the UK. Very large waves on the coast and wind. I hope that your cottage is not near the coast. Be careful. Blessings to you and Jack!!!!!
Hi, dear Colette and Mr Jack. Very and stupendous place!! And coming the Autumn. Have a nice and blessed day and weather to you. Many blessings to you and Mr Jack. Thanks always for share your amazing videos.
Hi, Collette-- Thanks for your soothing contributions to a chaotic world ;- ). I was just watching this new documentary on the worldwide problem of plastic waste, and how culpable Coca Cola and other major corporations are in creating this problem, and then convincing the masses that WE INDIVIDUALS are the problem, because we are not disposing of it properly. We all know how bogus that assertion is, and how much human energy is wasted by washing, sorting and recycling all of our supposed 'recyclables'.... which are actually only being recycled at a rate of less than 10%. The rest is being shipped to the landfills, or shipped to other continents, or dumped in the oceans. So, the whole issue is enraging-- along with all the other corporate/political B.S., propaganda and rampant corruption we are enduring (I'm in the U.S.) around the world-- and it makes me question how to even make meaningful choices, without twisting myself into knots and sapping my already limited energies. Geesh! Anyway, while watching the documentary, I thought of you and your little rant about your recent dress purchase and the upscale store having only plastic bags to offer. I thought maybe, if you hadn't already discovered this documentary (posted on RUclips on Sep. 19, 2019), that you'd like to know about it, to add to your resources list. I'm not sure if you're opposed to links being posted in your Comments section, so I'll just provide the title: Coca-Cola's plastic secrets | DW Documentary . And the RUclips channel is: DW Documentary. It's 42 minutes. Quite well done. I recommend it to everyone to get a closer look at the real reasons we are drowning in plastic waste: corporate greed and institutionalized lack of accountability to the people or the planet we all live on. It's time for revolutionary change in these so-called democracies around the globe. I pray that we have had enough, and that we, and our collective 'sleeping giant,' have begun to wake from our stupor and stand up for human rights, and sustainability, in all aspects of life on earth.
Thank you Colette for sharing your drive into Ballyfarnon. Loved those white swans on the Lough in the bluster. I may be weird but I love stormy (non destructive) weather, it is Gaia kicking her heels up I feel. xx
Just found your channel this evening and we were travelling on this very route visiting family in Sligo and Leitrim and saw the most fabulous sunset over the Lough. Looking forward to viewing more videos. Thank you for sharing
That was kinda cool. I brought up google earth and took a "stroll". I like it. I noticed how similar it looks to where I grew up, in western Massachusetts. It even has some Vermont and New Hampshire feeling to it. The geography, not the village. The buildings in your town are very different than our. But the countryside,, reminds me of New England. Thanx fer sharin' the vid. peace

great weather Colette, two days of rain on the east coast

Love the tour! The absence of trees reminds me of the prairie or farmland here in the Midwest of America

Lovely drive but I must confess to a bit of motion sickness, lol, unexpected sitting here in my rocking chair.
Swans!!!
Did you switch Post Offices? The old one had a character named Pascal. Did that one shut down?
Yes. More local. I talked about this in a previous video.
