This really summed up my work life 3:35. Being an (extreme!) introvert, I was so physically and mentally drained by the end of my shift that I had zero energy, motivation or creativity by the time I got home from the office. To work from home and set your own hours if you can manage it is a MUCH better option especially for introvert artists!
One tip I'd add is to make sure you don't assume you'll have plenty of time later to do your art. Even if you are single with no kids, your parents will need more of your time and assistance as they age. (My mother had dementia which demanded an incredible amount of my time and energy.) Put the time in for your art now as much as is feasible.

I totally agree. I used to be full of energy after but post-pandemic, I've become quite introverted and selective on how I use my social battery! I think there are lots of jobs that allow for this flexibility.
I agree with using this time as much as possible and now being the time I'll have the most of it.
      Thank you ❤️

There is lots of great advice in here, but I think you downplayed the value of listening to music, which can be as helpful as an art podcast, just in a different way. Listening to music can help our brains process our experiences, which can then get our creative juices flowing when we work on our visual art.

As someone who has an average music listen time of 8 hours a day, I agree 😂 I just think some of that time is more useful learning vs sitting in traffic to music.
