Hi I recently built one of these drones and I keep having an issue when doing flips where my quad flips out and falls out of the sky and going into death roll, so I realized I haven't added the capacitor that came with the stack I wired the capacitor up to my leads and it seemed like the problem went away but today when I flew it death rolled again 🙃 any idea on why it could be happening i fly 3 and 4 s and its happend on both now?
Would you recommended the BeeBrain stack or would you recommend another one... I’m giving up on trying to make my DYS FC work with the DJI. ( I can’t get the osd to work) thank you in advance
So the Red wire now connects directly from the air unit to the ESC? Would swapping the batteries and motors to 6s resolve this issue or would other changes need to be made? Thank you for the in depth build videos!
I have this stack... honestly. this and my interactions with NBD as a result of it have left a pretty sour taste in my mouth. probably will avoid their products from now on sadly. like - they have our emails. they COULD tell us about this issue and others with the stack. but they choose not to and rely on people like you to inform us all indirectly? I mentioned some other issues to them and they sort of tersely told me to "deal with it" (paraphrasing). thank you for making the video. I have a 35V 1000uf on the main lead .... but maybe i should revise that.

Question do I still need to Place a capacitor on the positive and negative of the battery. Another words will I need to caps.
If you add this cap to the FC you don't need a cap on the XT60

ONLY RUN THE AIR UNIT OFF OF VBAT IF YOU ARE USING 4S OR BELOW!!!! 5S or higher voltage will damage the Air Unit.
JB what about 5s??
I haven't tested 5S. Only 6S and 4S. You definitely cannot run the Air Unit off 5S though.

Is this still an issue? What if I'm not using DJI and just running crossfire and a unify?
Look at the revision letter on your FC to know if you are affected.

35v 1000 uF on the main lead is probably fine.

Nope, bad advice! It's faulty/not fit for purpose. Demand a refund.

Tell newbeedrone you don't want their broke ass fc and send you a new one.
