There seems to be an algo update as most pinners in the forums I am in have had huge drops beginning around August 4th. This does not seem seasonal. However I appreciate your points about typical slow seasons.

There definitely could be something else going on. It's not unlike Pinterest to change something. They're good for that! Im keeping an eye out to see if anyone notices anything else!
The last few days, my impressions dropped from 3k per day to 100. I lost all my traffic, and the new content I uploaded related to fall and back-to-school lost all its traction overnight. I thought I was hit by the spam filter, but when I contacted the Pinterest team, they said my account is not flagged as spam. This is really frustrating. Don't know if I can regain my traffic before the holidays.
i am also dealing with this and i'm in a facebook group as well and LOTS of people are experiencing the same thing. I'm on day 4 of practically no traffic
That is a way more significant drop than I've heard others are seeing! I wonder if you were marked as spam and they just didn't tell you. sometimes its hard to get them to admit they made a mistake so you maybe have to email them again? Otherwise, I would just keep pinning and hope it revocers!
@@SarahMarieBlogI emailed them a second time and they told me another time that my account is not flagged as a spam, I think I will continue pinning and hope my traffic will be back
I slowly gained an impression, its around 150k monthly views, but on 2nd aug, 2024 it suddenly dropped so badly, and I'm now 93k monthly views, the last few days I got traffic approx. 200 visitors per day but after 2nd Aug till now I got only 6 to 8 visitors per day, I'm so frustrated and confused about whether I'm doing anything wrong or what, I can't understand, my niche is food and recipes, I already doing Fall, thanksgiving, Halloween and Christmas content to post on my blog and Pinterest but not up the monthly view and going decrease day by day.... Help!
I don't comment much, but thanks for explaining this. My views dropped by 200 after growing since May. I'm new to blogging, so I was concerned. Fortunately, I can shift my content to the season and holiday and see how it goes.

What do you mean by holiday content, Sarah? Please give some example keywords.
Its hard to give exact keywords because it's going to depend on your niche. But you could create Fall content, Christmas content or things like that
