Thanks for this great video. I've only just started the game and these are super helpful tips ❤. Loving this so far. Like you, I'm already addicted 😂. The blobs are so cute 😍.
You can feed them their cravings to easily increase their HP in the barn. Check each one and place corresponding food in the trough. Also works in specific battles and at the restaurant. The pig blob has distract so any blob that craves meat will get the HP bonus from him. Best to lose to prevent him from getting too hard and one-shotting you. You did get lucky with your turtle blob. Been fishing a lot at the beach and have gotten all other types but that one😭. Kiwi blond can turn cross into seeds. It best to do this with seeds that give not than one. Flowers are a great source of money so that everything else can be saved. Keep bugs that have summaries related to crafting or processing. Bent cans become iron, so they shouldn't be sold. Fruit trees exist and can be bought from Emerald. This includes heart fruit.
I'm sorry to hear that. In all our playthroughs, the turtle blob was pretty easy to get. 😅 And thanks for the tips, we'll be checking it out along with the rapid update rollouts from the devs.
I think if you choose the skill where you can see farm plot information, you can see how many days the crops have left to grow. This still doesn't help when purchasing the crops, but it's something

I only have access to two Blob Worlds, Forest and Pirate.... is there a third one as you mentioned? How can I go there? I played through the other two, but after the second one, nothing happened according to new Blob Worlds. Here some things I learned: 1. As the breeding process is kinda random, you can save your game the night before the eggs are ready, hatch it and if the Blob isn´t to your liking (ability, attack or appearance) you can reload the game and try again. 2. For the buyable Blob eggs it is a bit more complicated, but these can a lso be reloaded to gain a different one: Just save your game on the last day of the week. As the breedery is closed on the first day of week, you need to skip that one day (you don´t have to save the game as it is auto-saved each morning anyways) on day two you go straight to the breedery and check the egg out. If you like it, great, if not, reload to the last day of the week before and retry it. When the blob is to your liking. Quit the game and load the auto save file from day one of the week. Play through as usual, on day two you can get your new Blob egg. 3. On the Star Shower days, collect the shards, but don´t sell them (thought, they sell quite high, especially, if you craft them back into a Wishing Star). You can use these stars in battles with wild blobs to get their egg. Like, if you want to get the turtle one but they just don´t to drop an egg, use the star on one of the turtles in the fight. 4. If your fields are not protected by the scarecrow Crow and Butterfly Blobs appear randomly. They also can drop egg. The Crow Blob has the ability to harvest crops for you, the Butterfly produces butterflies. As I don´t want to lose my whole harvest, I moved the scare crow in a way, that it covers most of my fields exept one or two. Keep in mind, Crow Blobs appear on crops while the Butterfly Blobs appear on flowers. 5. In the second world you can find Bomb Blobs, try to get one of these, as they have the ability Explosion, which can remove the boulders from the cave on your farm and in the mine (these two entries are connected, so when removed, you can go straight from your farm to the train station area). Bomb Blobs can also be used to clean the space on your farm (not sure, if it also works outside, to remove trees, bushes ect., let me know, in case you tried it out). 6. Despite what I read in the web, the best starter Blob from my experience is the Forest one. There aren´t many npcs using Magma Blobs and even then, I was able to beat Jasper and Griffin several times, without a problem. The Storm Starter is kind of useless, thought really cute, as the first Blob World is full of Forest Blobs. 7. Don´t fear fighting wild Blobs in the town at the early game. How many wild Blobs appear depends on the number ob Blobs you have with you. If you only take one Blob with you, only one wild Blob will appear, while fishing. I still recommend to go back to your farm to save the game inbetween, as loosing a fight against wild Blobs leads to you fainting AND not revoering you stamina when you wake up the next morning. 8. The Lotus Blobs that can be found in sets of two in the lake in Solis (you need to cast your fishing rod at the little lotus flowers swiming in the lake) disappear in Ceres and Frigus. Be careful, as once you hit the last of the five lotus flowers, a Lotus Boss Blob appears. This one is pretty rough, so you should be prepared for this fight. When you beat it, you will get an egg of this Boss Blob, the Blob hatching out of it is quite strong and has a great attack combination. You can also use it to breed other Forest Blobs.
Oh no, I've misread the number of blob worlds available at the start of early access, right now there's just two available and the third should be opened in the next major update, so sorry for the confusion. And thank you for sharing all these things you've learned, they're great! 😊
I still feel bad about Flint not being named after a gem. 😢 And don't worry, not noticing it right away is understandable since the non-sprite NPCs have normal names.
Devs are very responsive, they've already padded out the weeks a little and responded directly saying they hope to support all resolutions when they hit 1.0 (right now it has black bars on ultra wide and other ratios)
They are! And they've rolled out a lot of improvements since release. I quite liked the 3 weeks per season but making it 5 isn't so bad I guess. There are definitely a lot of balancing needed but I do think the game is pretty enjoyable already.

One thing I learned from this video is that you can place multiple barns, thank you so much for showing it to us, I didn't know you could do that.

Is it bad I have been playing this game for over two weeks and only just noticed all the characters you can befrend are named after stones? xD

They are! And they've rolled out a lot of improvements since release. I quite liked the 3 weeks per season but making it 5 isn't so bad I guess. There are definitely a lot of balancing needed but I do think the game is pretty enjoyable already.
All 4 of your bottom skills would have been better spent on the makers increase!
I agree! At the time of recording this I didn't have much makers back then but now that I got so many, the maker upgrades are so helpful 😆
How do I move a blob from the barn to follow with me? I play using a controller
From the barn's blob registry book, choose the organize team button, then you can select the blob you want to follow you from the barn's list.
