True. In 2020, fraud took 24k from my SBI bank account. I filed an FIR within 24 hours and informed the cyber branch and my bank. The manager didn't help me. Went to RBI Ombudsman. Interesting thing is, they asked me to submit the case diary from the police outpost within a stipulated time. I was told in the out post that the case diary was confidential and it would need court's permission. Since, there were two days holidays, so, I requested RBI to extend two or three more days in case I was not able to submit the same on the deadline. The Ombudsman, instead of listening to my request, even preponed the deadline instead with a notice that I can't even report anymore on my issue. I still have the mails. And I still can't believe the way SBI manager and the RBI Ombudsman responded to my concern.
Mam if fraud has occurred from our account and for this complaint we have go to our home branch only or any branch of that bank within our reach.. As some time we maybe out of station or not able to reach our home branch. Kindly clarify. Thank you

Agree. Me and My friend recovered 1.5Lacs from SBI because of same rule. It was a fraud happen to our account 4years back but with in a day we informed the RBi as SBI was not ready to help. It took 1.5 year to keep fighting with them but we got it all where else the rule is to get all such amount back in 3 to months

I asked for reimbursement after the hospitalization and they said the hospital is blocked so we cant do anything and they did not tell me this when i was purchasing the insurance. I even asked with the name of hospital (where I did my treatment) when I was purchasing the insurance. They said it is not in network hospital but you will get reimbursement. So shit it is. There should be some complaint number where we can immediately call and raise the complaint.
