Always got to take pride in your work, after all! And made a Trans Flag oversized D20 for a friend of mine who started transitioning this year, and she loved it... and used a few times. And the numbers were also done in gold too, which looked really good against all the colors. :D

Maybe the pink just bled off more dramatically than the blue because it was already so light! Should try clear coating them with a Krylon finish before dunking them into the resin! The dice still look awesome though!
if you ever want to revisit these, you could always try putting a white swirl inside the clear inserts! if you can find a pink that doesn't vanish i think that would look great! this set is awesome though :D
These are absolutely gorgeous! So subtle but the stained glass effect is something that just works. Amazing job. And I've got to appreciate your shoutout to the trans community too
Rybooooo these came out amazing! also, the making is like an analogy for transition, because there is that image we have of ourselves, how or who we wanna be, and it is this romanticised perfect version that we will probably never achieve, but if we keep trying, we will become something truly amazing! I hope you and your wife are on a good way, feeling better and not loosing hope And thank you for this, i like this so much
OMG I didn't know you made trans stuff! Super happy rn (I just recently started making my own projects) and one thing I'm trying to perfect is a trans color scheme. So far I've been using micah powder for a more flat look with more definition and using alchohol ink with corresponding foil colors for a really sparkly variation. I'll see if I can't make this variation on things work for me in some way. Thanks for being awesome, being an ally, and having informative amazing videos
thank you so much for making these! my sister sent this to me and it's so nice to see so much love and support in the world for trans people like myself.... hopefully i'll be able to find some beautiful dice like these by next pride month!!
I don't see a lot of love for the trans flag when compared to the rainbow flag (which is fair! It's the community umbrella flag, after all), and as a transgender guy myself... seeing these gorgeous dice and all of the thought and care you put into them nearly made me cry. These look AMAZING and you really did do the concept justice. I know the pink sides didn't quite turn out like you'd intended, but hey, that's how it goes sometimes, and they still look great regardless. Thank you for this. Your upfront and kind support really goes a long way.
Well truth to be told, I'm a pretty laid back guy, I have dozens of gay friends and family. You do you, I do me. But the LGTB community has to thank itself for a lot of the hate they receive. I'll talk to anyone, discuss whatever needs to discussed, but I'm fed up defending the community as a whole. It requires a lot of nuance, but let me make a few examples.... First the Inclusion of many many minority groups that don't really agree with everything the flag represents, nor does it have to do anything with pride/LGTB. For example, black and brown? Since when does race have anything to do with sexual preference? And a lot of those people don't even agree with the basic gay things. Way to go. Or the intersex people, actual people with actual medical conditions. A lot of them don't feel proud to be sterile or having both sex organs. I once had an interesting talk with a bisexual man. The gay community considered him not enough of a gay man and shunned him for it. And that's just the original LGBT group. And those problems are stacking even more by integrating many different groups under the same umbrella that don't necessary agree. Who decides to include which group? There is no leadership, the biggest mouths decide what sticks. What do I want to defend? And now the trans part of the community is also split up into so many different subgroups and groups of groups. It's too confusing. Second, parents. Corona was a blessing and a curse, because parents became aware thanks to a sudden increase of digital visual influence. Desmond for example, a 10 year old queer boy that performs stripping acts in front of adult gay men. That's called grooming and parents don't really like that. Or teachers that want to validate their sexual preference to minors. I never knew, nor did I care about the sexual preference of my teachers. But parents took notice of the fact that their kids isn't being taught math or language. That's not what they paid for and essentially the LGBT teachers weaponized the parents, bringing discredit to the LGBT community. Third: MAP's, a group we used to call by a different name, but now festers within the ranks of the LGBT community. It's openly discussed on the internet using euphemisms and innocent language, but the fact simply is adults seeking attention from minors. Which also happens to be illegal. This group is allowed to exist within the LGBT community and it's also another reason the LGBT community gets much hate lately. I think this damages the community as a whole the longer this "preference" is allowed to be discussed. But why would I defend a group that includes people I really really don't like. Forth, Disney, Hollywood and corporate america in general. Forcing LGBT representation into everything, even if it doesn't make sense. And I loved the first season of sex education on Netflix, because it made sense. There are many example where a gay scene makes sense without pushing it. A large part of the LGBT community is more then willing to assist, not thinking about the repercussions it has for them. So it goes two ways, forcing LGBT into regulars, but also abusing the LGBT community by corporate america for profit. And regular people are caught in the middle seeking to escape. So yeah, the LGBT community is destroyed both from the inside and the out. These are just a few examples. Some of the hate is well deserved, some not entirely. And as you may have noticed I never mentioned the transcommunity specifically, because the general problems that apply to the whole umbrella applies to the different subgroups of trans equally. And even more so on specific subjects, but that requires more nuance that I really don't feel like explaining right now ;)
Great set! If you plan to do more stained-glass style dice in the future i'd highly recommend picking up some stained glass paints. They have a nice strong translucent color and dry extremely fast, I find they are much more enjoyable to work with than the sharpies, and produce a better general result. Paint pens work great too for opaque color, I like to do sort of a glass-framing look with black or silver pens then paint in the facets. Anyhow, good to see you posting!
Absolutely excellent. Thank you for supporting Trevor Project! these are beautiful. could you make a super cut of all your dice rolling? It sounds so lovely, I just want 15 minutes of all your creative dice rolling by!
For more gay dice, i feel like the aromantic, asexual, and lesbian flags are GREAT color schemes Who cares if its not pride month every month is pride month
I love those dice! I have an idea/suggestion. Instead of sharpies, how about watercolor paint or inks? Inks deliver a lot of pigment but are still clear because they have no opaque medium.
Just one thing to say. Thank you so much for being such a good ally!! People don't do much during pride month and its really cool to see that you do stuff!
They look so nice! Suggestion if you want to try again: try a bright or hot pink instead of the pastel. If it fades out like this version did, it should just lighten a few shades instead.
Lots of cool points for this video, fashionably late, pun inspired and all around fabulous. It's hard to rock the pink, but if you get it right it looks amazing, not just saying it because I am a nitro booster on the discord server haha.
Not only are they a beautiful set of dice, but I love the idea to make the high and low numbers a different color so you know for certain if you crit'd. Happy Pride!
Thank you for all your videos! With their support I made my first set of homemade dice today and they came out so well, (as well as they can without a pressure pot) and it was all possible because of your dice making series!! Thank you so much! I love your videos! ❤️
Even though they're just plastic, even though it's just a small gesture of acknowledgement out of kindness, I appreciate you doing this. I know that there's a very non-zero amount of miserable people who will try to make you feel bad for something as simple as this, and yet you went ahead, probably knowing full well what you were inviting. Thank you Rybo, and don't let their hate be louder to you than all of this love and appreciation. :)
Little bumps in the road are all just a part of the process! Big love from a trans viewer, and I'd love to see your take on pansexual dice, the colours of the pan flag give me beach sunset vibes
Gorgeous dice! I too wish that pink didn't disappear, but they're still so pretty. For future Pride dice... I might be partial because it's my flag, but the Ace flag colors look so good together (and I don't think I've seen you use gray that I can remember).
Have you tried sealing the sharpie with something like hairspray? It may keep the faces with a color from running when you are adding them back in the mold with resin.
I would love to see your attempt at a lightning set of dice. No special molds, lightning dice with your regular molds, either two set molds or uour old molds
I love the trans trans pun myself; I'm in the process of making a translucent trans pride sunflower from polymer clay because translucent in the clay community is trans too. So it'll be a trans trans sunflower when it's done lol.
Hey I really love your videos and you've inspired me to kinda take up dice making for myself, even if I don't do it often. I am actually a genderfluid person and as such I've always kinda felt like dice have a genderfluid kinda vibe and I'd love to you make some next year. Because dice are pretty and also kinda are the pinnacle of change and unpredictability. Regardless I'm glad to see you support Trans People, especially now a days it isn't a given. Also I hope you have a nice day if you read this ;3
These are so cool! I’m sorry the pink didn’t work so well with the stained glass effect but the different colored numbers really make them pop. Plus the really obvious blue makes for a really great contrast. Totally something to be proud of (pun intended).
Another dice video wooooo! The stain glass style is awesome I love the colors. I just bought the let's resin adjustable mold housing and it's been great for making a mold for my dice. You might enjoy trying it out as well next time you need to make some silicone molds.
Your videos are very insightful and I am learning so much about dice making. But never before have I seen someone have such love and passion about something and yet cut so many corners.
Having a mask rated for vapor/fumes is important as well, and sufficient ventilation/air circulation for your workspace is also important. On the skin, or in the lungs, resin is no fun!
@@rosemattle435 As long as you have a respirator that filters fumes, not do it in your home - like kitchen (PLEASE DON'T!!) you should be just fine. My sister is asthmatic and makes dice all the time. :)
These look awesome. I'm sure someone must have mentioned this in the past but calligraphy inks are generally transparent or if you prefer to stay with a specific hobby product, Pro acryl transparents are phenomenally well pigmented. Might work better that pens 🤷 and a coast of gloss varnish would stop the colours reactivating in the shell moulds. Never thought I'd want to make my own five but man this can created a little itch that might just need scratching
I would love for you to the the non binary flag Or yk, for me and other agender folk, the agender flag! Black, grey, white, green, white, grey, black The asexual flag looks similar but it's not the same
1: i think you can make a little cut in the paper cup's edge and make a makeshift spout with it to pour more precisely, practice before you take my word for it, it might not work for you 2. I never realized that in this set the d12 was rhomboidal(? Is that a word?) Instead of pentagonal 3. I think you might like the intersex flag, gold dice with purple numbers, but there's not much creative freedom, it's mostly a solid color. I personally like the ace flag, but if you want to go by order maybe you can do the lesbian or bi flag
I absolutely love these! I think the problem with the pink is from the resin raising the ink off the inserts. You could try spraying the inserts with hairspray and letting them dry before putting them into the shells, and see if that helped protect the color?
you're a great person /gen. representation like this matters, regardless of whether its dice or a TV show, and seeing this made my day. thank you for being awesome
I just realized that the Trans flag has blue and pink because those are the traditional colour of boys and girls and that the white probably is that transfer over.
From Wikipedia - "Helms [the flag creator] describes the meaning of the transgender pride flag as follows: The stripes at the top and bottom are light blue, the traditional color for baby boys. The stripes next to them are pink, the traditional color for baby girls. The stripe in the middle is white, for those who are transitioning or consider themselves having a neutral or undefined gender." 😊
As a Trans Woman I demand you make a sequel to this video wherein you make "child dice" to pair with them, thus making these a transPARENT set as well! :D Thank you, I'll see myself out.
Have you ever had trouble with resin staying soft in the silicon mold? I poured from the same batch into a silicon mold and some into some blanks. The blanks cured properly but the reason in the mold stayed soft. It was just clear resin. No dyes, coloring, or powders of any kind. Stayed in a pressure pot for 24 hours. Any guesses?
been following for years now, loved your rainbow pride dice and these are phenomenal. this month has been devastating for my mental health as a trans gal, but seeing you show your support in your own dice goblin way is really wonderful. next year, nonbinary flag? white yellow black and purple is a color palette right up your alley, you could do something incredible for it.
I don’t know about your identity, but I appreciate that you make these videos for Pride. Gives me hope that the queer community can be accepted and loved in this country ❤️🏳️⚧️🏳️🌈🇺🇸

Thanks so much for making these dice, they look fantastic! It's nice to know one of your favorite channels is a safe space
Duuuuude they look rad as hell!
Hope you're doing well, Rybonator!
You too my friend :)
That's awesome 😊
aroace dice for next year is my suggestion i think the flag looks super nice the individual ones are verry nice aswell
Also I hope you have a nice day if you read this ;3
Love how the colors turned out with the inking!
Happy Pride month everyone!
Thanks Emily :) Happy Pride!
Love the wordplay 😆💜
It writes itself haha
@@Rybonator TRUE😆
these are so cool and so pretty! Happy Pride♡
Happy Pride!
These are so cool! I’m sorry the pink didn’t work so well with the stained glass effect but the different colored numbers really make them pop. Plus the really obvious blue makes for a really great contrast. Totally something to be proud of (pun intended).
I think next time, I'll go with a darker pink, and it will lighten up with the outer shell being added to fix the problem :)
Would love to see an a, ace, or an areo flag next year
As a trans person who loves dice and your channel thank you so much and these are amazing dice!!!
Glad I can hit multiple interests :)
I cannot describe the warmth this video gifted me when I saw the notification. These dice came out awesome!
🏳️⚧️🏳️🌈 happy pride Rybo! On behalf of the They's thank you for a trans set. Pretty soon you'll have a set for all the flags.
IM TRANS YES TYSM
Another dice video wooooo! The stain glass style is awesome I love the colors.
I just bought the let's resin adjustable mold housing and it's been great for making a mold for my dice. You might enjoy trying it out as well next time you need to make some silicone molds.
I have some new molds from Sophie and Toffee to try out soon as well :D
@@Rybonator sweet! Are we going to get a product review?
Even before I transitioned & found out about the trans flag, I've always loved the color scheme. It's still one of my faves. These turned out lovely!
Your videos are very insightful and I am learning so much about dice making. But never before have I seen someone have such love and passion about something and yet cut so many corners.
I notice you use gloves. What are other safety tools used when working with resin? I want to make 2 sets but I don't want to do so dangerously.
Having a mask rated for vapor/fumes is important as well, and sufficient ventilation/air circulation for your workspace is also important. On the skin, or in the lungs, resin is no fun!
@@MogoPrime it worries me a little because I'm asthmatic.
Honestly I shouldn’t have gotten so emotional about seeing this, but as a trans man, thank you 🥺💙💗🤍💗💙
aaaaahhh I haven't done a pride mini yet and now it's a tradition so I have to do it, so I'm watching this while speedpainting a rainbow R2 droid
GOGO PAINT LIKE THE WIND!
I would love for you to the the non binary flag
Or yk, for me and other agender folk, the agender flag!
Black, grey, white, green, white, grey, black
The asexual flag looks similar but it's not the same
im gonna say a hot take as an agender person myself, the common agender flag is uglyyy 😭
i havent found a good alternative flag either :(
I'd love to see some bisexual flag dice... with sparkles!
Happy pride yall! These dice are certainly something to be proud of! Thank you for the rep from a trans viewer
1: i think you can make a little cut in the paper cup's edge and make a makeshift spout with it to pour more precisely, practice before you take my word for it, it might not work for you
2. I never realized that in this set the d12 was rhomboidal(? Is that a word?) Instead of pentagonal
3. I think you might like the intersex flag, gold dice with purple numbers, but there's not much creative freedom, it's mostly a solid color.
I personally like the ace flag, but if you want to go by order maybe you can do the lesbian or bi flag
the word is rhombic, the polyhedron is called a rhombic dodecahedron
@@exylic thank you
I absolutely love these!
I'd love to see you do updated videos of mold making after everything you've learned.
I just realized that the Trans flag has blue and pink because those are the traditional colour of boys and girls and that the white probably is that transfer over.
From Wikipedia -
"Helms [the flag creator] describes the meaning of the transgender pride flag as follows:
The stripes at the top and bottom are light blue, the traditional color for baby boys. The stripes next to them are pink, the traditional color for baby girls. The stripe in the middle is white, for those who are transitioning or consider themselves having a neutral or undefined gender."
😊
@@stillnotstill that's pretty cool, thanks!
these are gorgeous and umm. i cried watching this video this was amazing
Hell yeah, man. Beautiful dice! And thank you for showing your support for trans folks amidst a VERY rough time.
I NEEED these so badly
A tip for pouring liquid out of a cup: put a bit of duct tape on the edge and it won't pour down the cup
Hmm, good to know! I wanna try that now :)
As a Trans Woman I demand you make a sequel to this video wherein you make "child dice" to pair with them, thus making these a transPARENT set as well! :D
Thank you, I'll see myself out.
😆😆
Asexual Pride dice would be cool for next year :)
They are so beautiful 👉👈💛
No u :)
Happy pride month everyone!!! Even if its the last day
Happy Pride! :)
