At one time, snakes were eradicated from Jamaica due to the mongoose being introduced to the island. The slaves would die from snake bites so, mongoose were introduced to control the snakes.

These Jamaicans need to be educated when it comes to wild life encounter.

We don’t need any education when it comes to snakes and crocodiles. They are NOT our friends. You can take them all to your country or else we will deal with them as they deserve to be dealt with. Snake was never a good thing from creation. Even the Bible proves that, so why do you think we should coexist with them as if we are friends?

Early Jamaica was infested with snakes. The mongoose was brought to Jamaica strictly to kill all snakes. But I guess there is a mongoose shortage.
