EPIC motor - Otis hydraulic freight Elevator - Carnegie Science Center - Chateau, Pittsburgh, PA

This is a very nice new and big freight elevator with EMS doors, and an EPIC-sounding hydraulic motor; probably 1 the best motors I've heard on a modern elevator. I've noticed lately that for some reason, Otis has been using GAL Jet II/Plus fixtures on at least their hydraulic freight elevator installs; another example of that is 1 PAelevators recorded in Downtown. Kind of like what Otis was doing on their ESCO installs in the late 70s-80s. The only reason I rode this is because it has door stop. As you can see, I was afraid they locked the floors, and couldn't get back up, but luckily I figured it out.

BREAKING NEWS: If anyone wants to ride the main freight elevator, watch out! I was just there yesterday and Mom was talking to a trash compactor and said it gets stuck pretty often... Also it’s REALLY busy!
