@@Ollyatlas They are more or less the same thing, but applied in different ways and with different end goals. Both are ultimately control mechanisms for societies, but while the Tau seek to extend that system to as many races as possible, Super Earth is only interested in having Humanity be the sole ruling race in the galaxy and call it "Freedom"
Thanks! Glad it hits home. I'm not to familiar with other Warhammer projects but It's no surprise there isn't much Tau, this one was quite difficult to get right.
So glad to see someone who actually takes the Tau seriously instead of just spamming the same 3 dead memes nonstop! You’ve done the greater good proud soldier!
The opening solo actually feels really fitting for the Tau, since it is rising, swelling, and hopeful and then after the first lyric string those qualities just become stronger in it, especially with the "Softer" lyrical choices. You really did a service for the greater good here, it goes hard but doesn't betray the ideals of the tau
my second favorite faction in warhammer and today of all days. I just got off of helldivers 2 where I'm cosplaying a Tau pathfinder only to hop off and see this song uploaded. And to boot majorkill uploaded a tau video not that he's the best source but it seems Tau was on the agenda today lmao!
If lorcan was an artist in 40k universe...his songs would make biggest inner conflict in inquisition ordos from the time when angel of destruction awoken once. Anyway this one is fire...you somehow beat my Tau bias for theese 4 minutes..but only for this once!
Nobody expected T'au just like Spanish Inquisition ;) Damn, another banger... I hope for Salamaners song but to be honest - anything you do, will be AWESOME.
This was originally called "Soilworkers song of the fan". I even asked Bjorn to sing on it but he was a little out of my budget. That reminds me I must send it to him.
@@LorcanWard well, I sure wasn't expecting to get a reply in my comment from the man himself - with that said, I am looking forward to what you have in mind for the Eldar, since I can't go a day without blasting your songs on repeat a few times (Unbreakable and I Cannot Say are absolute bangers)!
This song is alchemy that manages to make the Tau sound awesome. Which is great. As much as I love the Tau hate memes I think the whole thing has become a bit overblown
As a tau fan and collector from near first sight, i will say that the memes can get a little tiresome especially when it becomes hard to tell if it’s even a joke or not. That being said, the greater good stands tall and im happy with my blue boys regardless.
I expected to see the Necrons and the Tyranids get metal songs before the Tau. Still. I am pleasantly surprised(Personal note, but I recomend that the Kroot might need their own metal song separate from the Tau Empire itself).
Honestly, wouldnt have thought of Making the fire cast the aggressive "Corrupted version of the greater good. 4th sheere expension i guess" and the Ethereals (thank f u Phill kelly) as the hopefull belivers of the greater good cause if i remember right its ussualy the other way around. This is what i love about your songs the thing i expect isnt how the song goes but it fitts together perfectly. One question though why didnt you push the chorus even more into syphonic/ choir esque Singing. i think it would make the diffrence between Idea and Reality of the gg even clearer hammer it down harder?. Great work as allways.
Thanks! Glad you like it. The clean style chorus vocals are inspired by Soilwork and other melodeath/metalcore bands. I do have a song in the works with those kind of elements though.
I don’t right now but it is something I’m considering. I’d like to make a physical album when I’ve enough songs so maybe T-shirts first. For now people can support me by buying my songs through Apple Music/iTunes and Bandcamp or leaving Super Thanks here on RUclips
I have a traitor legion song in the works for them but I did toy with the idea of a loyal EC song. Fulgrim is one, if not my favourite HH book. It’s theme of perfection set to a Neo-classical symphonic metal song could really capture their legion. I’ll need to work on it.
The T’au hearing range is actually slightly tilted compared to ours (we ear things they can’t and they ear things we can’t). So their music sounds really bad to human ears. I remember that information coming from either Inquisitor Amberley Vail in Ciaphas Cain the Greater Good or Inquisitor Vykola Herat in the first Farsight book. Can’t remember which one it is.

You did it again! And it sound just like Soilwork.
Orks would be awesome
Lorcan's greatest achievement is making the T'au look threatening
Ha brilliant!
They all say that until they have 20 railcannons pointed at them, then the tune changes.

@iansahleen1173 the tau way of the "greater good" is alot like helldiver democracy in some way philosophically

There isn’t enough Tau inspired or based music in the fandom so from a Tau player you have my thanks for making this kick ass banger

Now that xeno’s are on the table, I want to say I’m excited for Necrons (my army) but DAMN am I excited for Nid’s! Assuming it’s being made anyway
I might have a Nids song coming soon. Have a look in the underhive....
Necron song in the works too

My favourite faction getting a Lorcan Ward song? Time to listen to this on repeat for the next 3 weeks.
Nice!! I was wondering where the Tau fans were 💪
Always a good morning waking up to a new Locan Ward upload
Thanks for listening 💪🏻

Thanks! Thunder Warriors is an idea, maybe someday.

I just came home with my kroot army box and this was a wery good surprise. I would even say greater good surprise.
Perfect timing!
I find it so funny how I think that this is probably the most American song which you guys have made. Either way this is a great song.
Love it! Can't wait to see what you do for the Necron!
Thanks! Necron song hopefully coming sometime this year.
I would love to see your take on Farsight.
That’s an idea for a future song
love that double-bass, ooooww my guh
You're also becoming very bad for my wallet, I now want a Tau army.
Just in time for the new models
i never expected someone to create song about xenos, let alone Tau one

Another great one.
I wonder, if there will be ork song, if it will be REALLY orkish...
I iz got a few songz bout da Boyz in the wurks

The greater good has arrived
With plenty of firepower
last thing I expected was a song about the tau
I knew this one would come out of nowhere with all the Legion songs.
The funny part is is that it goes really hard and makes the tau seem threatening while still staying in their aspect of wanting peace
This is a good song. Not a tau fan so it's an achievement to make me get behind them in metal core.
