I agree. I hope to God, if the family court has ANY kind of sense and cares about the well-being and safety of this little 3 yr old child, that they left her with the foster family she is currently living with. Her mother doesn't seem like she's physically or emotionally capable of being a single parent to a child, let alone a dog. I would even dare say she's still doing some kind of drugs. Removing her sweater, drinking water, the crocodile tears and the surly attitude....she doesn't strike me as a woman who is sober and has her life together and is able to care for her daughter OR a dog.

It baffles me that someone who can barely care for themselves wants to care for children and pets.
It’s not so much wants to take care of children but is allowed to take care of children. The defendant’s mother should be ashamed of herself for allowing her drug addict daughter to take care of any children.

the kids are no longer with her, for all she does is drugs, morning, noon and night. Sad for they never eat but take drugs instead and have no custody of her daughter and son left.

She’s clearly NOT sober. She can’t stand still, she’s twitchy, looking all over the place, emotional, can’t get her stories straight, taking off her jacket then putting it back on… SHES HIGH!!! And she shouldn’t be trusted to have a dog LET ALONE A CHILD. I really hope CPS looks into this & takes her kid away. AGAIN.

I just watched Part 1. So far, he basically hasn't had to say a word as she continues to dig her own grave. I actually feel sorry for her and I think she might need another Stint in Rehab. BTW....Shame on that "Friend" for going against the court giving her daughter back before her mother was cleared.
I never feel sorry for women who keep using drugs while pregnant and while raising a child. Not a safe environment.

Something ain't right about the older man either. He has this young girl which is the defendants son's ex girlfriend. He kicked everyone out but allowed her to stay. The defendant and her son have this womans daughter. This is a whole crazy jacked up situation. We just got a glimpse of it!!

That and part of recovery is taking accountability, its how you accept you need help...she thinks this is all irrelevant and doesn't want to talk about any of it meaning she isn't ready to get clean - so she most likely isn't clean yet has a small child in her care?
She mumbles like an addict still, and is very ungrateful. Which most addicts are until they truly get clean.

She had to go to rehab cause the baby came out addicted to drugs. But that doesn't mean she finished rehab. You can tell this girl is all drugged up🤣 crazy

I’m beginning to question if defendant can take care of herself yet alone a dog or children. She abandoned the dog , plaintiff seems to have taken care for the dog a while and probably is better suited to do so .

I don't think anything is humorous about addiction but I had to snort when Judge Judy said the dog name is Molly.
So the Defendant is taking care of her son's child as well as her own? IF she is clean, she's definitely dealing with residual issues. She seems too high strung, with or without the drug use.
My friend sister was very skiddish and werid she had some type of alcohol thing passed down to her from her mother nd then did drugs too she has these mood swings and cry sometimes from guilt

Her affect, her behavior, her inability to string a coherent sentence together...I didn't catch what she was in rehab for, but either she's using that drug again, or she's using something else. She doesn't need anything alive in her care. Not a child, not a dog, not a plant. She needs to get her shit together and get clean and stay clean.

I was on heroin for 8 years and my mother tried to force me to go to rehab and it never worked until I ACTUALLY wanted to get clean!! And now I've been clean since 2013, and I'm happily married with a beautiful 3yo daughter!!!!!! I hope she got clean and got help and I hope she's actually doing right by her daughter!!!!

I find it sad that everyone jumps to the conclusion she is still having drug issues. She’s nervous because her dirty laundry has just been laid out on national tv. I feel sorry for her. No wonder people struggle to stay sober when people refuse to see them as anything but an addict. Every behavior micro analyzed until nothing remains but a worthless addict who can’t possibly change. I hope the best for her and I pray she can surround herself with people who love her and support her on the hardest journey a person can travel; sobriety.
She was airing allot of that laundry rather than staying in control herself. I have empathy for her but as a recovering addict myself it was like looking in the mirror back to my early recovery. She exhibits signs of not being able to control herself and likely wasn't clean while on the show. She can certainly change and rebuild her life completely but not over night. It takes quite a long time to get a foundation, practicing good self care and having a program to help you like AA/NA/Church. She said she's been to multiple rehabs which just confirms that it takes a long time before the behavior changes. One addict helping another.
I understand what you're saying. It's true that a lot of people never stop looking down on someone who's had an addiction problem, even after they've gotten clean and sober. But I can tell you from personal experience that this woman is still doing drugs. I'm a recovering addict and it's SO obvious to me. Thankfully, I've been in recovery for 12 years. People CAN change if they're willing to do whatever it takes to stay clean and sober. I really hope she's gotten help since this was aired. She's in no condition to be looking after children, let alone a 3 yr old. I'm 99% sure she can't look after herself properly.
I’m gonna jump in and add as an addict in recovery myself now for the last 5 years and also as a substance abuse counselor now..at the time of this broadcast she was definitely still using and if I had to say it looks like opiates. Probably rx pain pills.

I have a bro-in-law who is a recovering addict. He married my sister, got his masters degree & works as a Special Education Teacher & has been clean and sober for 10 years.
