The cake looks awesome! When you use store-bought icing is easier to pipe if you whip it a little bit in the stand miker with the paddle attachment, the consistency will be so much better! You should try! Anyway awesome video! ✨

hello Tiffany!!!! I did a similar technique on my daughters' cake ( I did a teddy bear) and I put frosting all over the cake before I did the stars...and it was a complete game changer because it camouflaged the dark spots and made everything seamless. Also, I learned from experience that Sam's bakery sells premade frosting ($40 for a tub) and it's sooooo easy to work with, the Pillsbury ones are just too soft and they don't hold up as well; they sell it in various colors and it taste really good too.

I stuck with something fairly easy but I love watching your bday party preps! They are seriously my favorite!!

I try to do as much as I can the night before also my kids wake up at the butt crack of dawn so I get an early start
