Lhasa to Nyingchi Bullet Trains, Tibet

The new 435km Lhasa-Nyingchi railway opened on June 25 2021, which is the first electrified rail in Tibet and links two major cities in Tibet, Lhasa and Nyingchi that also is called Linzhi. 2 bullet trains equipped with oxygen supplies run from Lhasa to Nyingchi at 08:20AM and 01:40PM every day. The travel time is around 3.5 hours - 4 hours and the ticket prices are USD26 to USD78. The Fuxing bullet train D8981 with a maximum speed of 160 km/h finishs the journey in 3h34m.
