- The slow removal of Manifest V2 is starting now. By June 2025, Manifest V3 will be removed from Chromium-based browsers. This impacts many extensions, most notably Ad Blockers. What impact does this have and what steps might we consider?

Adguard uses a desktop version of adblock for Linux, Mac, Windows, or Android. Safari will also be fine, so Iphones will not be affected. Brave will continue to support manifest V2 and they also have a built in adblocking shield.
Always loved your channel, I also follow you on other platforms as well, as youtube is to much for me sometimes. Living the dream being able to travel around like that and doing your show mobile.
I will not pay for RUclips Premium and I will not disable my ad blocker. RUclips does not control what happens in my browser. Period. That's the good thing about using Linux: having control over your own computer.
I'm on Opera with Ublock origin, last couple of days had to change the filter code. Adblock still works, but now it won't track any video I watch that doesn't play an ad. My view history doesn't update and it keeps feeding me videos I've already watched. Whatever, I'll quit YT before I watch their ads.
I liked the rolling hills in Iowa. It's a pretty state. Saw the biggest White tail deer in the corn fields of Iowa. He was very well fed.
If I can't block ads I don't use it simple as that nobody needs yt yt needs to learn that
2024 Rise of the Linux Empire also AdGuard still works for now policy or not you are ENTITLED to use an Adblock for security measures forcing someone to take them down will breach your defenses and privacy I smell a class action lawsuit!
Every time I've tried to suggest an a*block*r on YT for months, the comment disappears. I use Firefox on Linux Mint (21.3, 6.5 kernel) with an extension that rhymes with mooclockorigen. I don't how you guys are getting away with mentioning it.
too bad Firefox doesn't have the irreplaceable Session Buddy extension..

If they do, then I will stop using whatever service requires this. I already ditched Facebook and threatened RUclips, but they wrote back telling me to forget about the mobile app forever, and use ublock origin. No joke.

uBlock Origin doesn't work for Twitch, AFAIK.
RUclips can screw up me watching videos, because I use adblockers. When the do, I will done with RUclips

adblock wont stop working if you do it right. several levels to block on, network level, oslevel, browserlevel if you still use chrome that is your problem you are using spyware from an advertising company noobs
