Another banger video. I dig this style or editing. Talking between bites, giving information, etc. Watching someone jig isn't the most exciting generally speaking.
@@keenanmoore264 thanks a lot! I watch a lot of RUclips just like anyone else and I try to create videos that I myself would like to watch and I can agree just watching “fishing” is not entertaining or informative. I appreciate ya!🤘🏼
I like using catch and cook spicy blend as a flour base then dip in an egg wash then finish with a final coating of panko crumbs always comes out crispy with a slight spice to it
I’ve been wanting to try that catch and cook brand but I’ve heard it lacks the luster when it comes to flavor…from a couple different people so I haven’t gave it a go yet….I may have to try it though. Thanks a lot for watching!🤘🏼🤘🏼
Another good video. Like the idea of coleslaw. I was wondering where your net was. Seen it in your boat. We’re going jigging, want to see the livescope in person.
That was a musky net because my original plan was to fish for them. Walleye would slide through the holes of that net. Thanks for watching! You’ll like that recipe
Cooking Walleye, deep fry, or Pan fry, Drakes/Italian Bread crumbs/Cajun, to taste/Panko/ salt and pepper to taste, can be used also. I have found you need to look at ingredients that you put on your Walleye, a lot of Commercial mixes out there have some bad ingredients. And make sure you clean your Walleye correctly to remove as many of so called pollutants as possible (Remove all the dark meat, this is where pollutants are stored up in the fish). Smaller fish are safer as far as pollutants are concerned.
I'm fomd ofbthe cajun batters, shore lumch, McCormick, and the best was Cabela's Down Home which is discontinued. Friends tell me Slap Yo Mama batter is good ifvyoublike a corn meal texture.
@@lloydduston707 it’s not necessarily the walleye that “like” the stained water but that’s usually where you’ll find the best population of baitfish. They can also see better in stained water than the bait fish can see. I wouldn’t suggest muddy water but a good stain to it will be best. Clear water will produce in low light conditions but sunlight will really bother the eyes of walleye which is why the “night bite” is such a productive bite for walleye. I hope that helps! Thanks a lot for watching 🤘🏼
You do any smallie fishing this time of year? Any tips on location? Istruggled last time i went out a few days ago? I'm going out sunday and going to try and catch a few as well as a limit of walleye.
@@keenanmoore264 they’re still kind of scattered. I been picking some up perch fishing but haven’t targeted them. I do know this time of year it’s really good at the south end of the lake specifically in the Canadian water NE of Peiche Island. I’d try 15 FOW ish I did see some schooled up on livescope today while I was jigging that area.
@@kipsalas6458 absolutely. The low light conditions are usually better shallow just like in the Spring and they will move to mid channel during the day. Thanks a lot for watching

Dip fillets in flour, then egg wash, then a 50/50 mix of panko bread crumbs and shredded coconut and deep fry or pan fry!
I got this wrote down and going to try it! Thank you! Thanks for watching🤘🏼
Awesome video and cooking segment. I swear by the egg wash (emphasis on egg), then Andy's red or Cajun batter. I love the crunch from the cornmeal. 👌
Thanks for watching! I also like Andy’s. It’s a little salty but it’s pretty good!

YA-BUDDY, !!!! just finished a fresh perch dinner, my go to is 50-50 drakes and Fry magic....great video
My dad is a huge drakes guy too! I’m learning that 50/50 blends tend to shine but this one I just had was really good

Thanks a lot John! I appreciate you buddy! 🤘🏼
Those walleyes look, and taste so good! Yum! 😋

I'm just curious, have you ever given smallmouth a try? It's surprisingly similar to panfish and one of the most flavorful in my experience.
