Excellent way to teaching Lao language very well pronounced and in a slow steps allow the learner to listen carefully and to repeat the sentence it is what we need. Thanks so much.

Speaking speed is not natural, so I advise you all to change the playback speed to 1.75

Before running, you’ve got to know how to walk!
The tempo is ideal for paying closely attention to tones and speech sounds.
If you really wanna learn Laos.
Otherwise just speak your mother language using the Laos words with the result of a terrible accent and difficult to understand for a native Lao speaker!

Putting ‘r’ letters in the English lettering is very confusing to someone who doesn’t know Lao. ‘R’ does not exist in the Lao alphabet (it is an ‘l’) and you put ‘v’ when the sound is actually much closer to a ‘w’ . Also you write a ‘j’ instead of ‘ny’ - What is your name” is best written as ‘jao su nyang’ in Roman script, not ‘Chao sujang’. For many of these how it is written in the roman script is NOT how you would say it, so please just listen to the voice.

It’s highly recommendable to learn the Lao writing system. It’s not that difficult.
      The benefits are huge.
You can’t learn it without being able to read it.

I am not really sure, but someone were talking and said a word and I would like the meaning but I have no idea how to express it . It sounds like (hanteh) (Janteh) , (gnante) on the second word (gn) sounds like letter (ñ) in spanish or gn (lasaGNa) in italian. but I am not really sure. Does anyone knows or recall a produnciation like that?

Baa is hard to write in English. It’s used so much and a lot of teachers spell it differently in English. From Bo, to Bor, to Ba to Baa. I think Baa is the best and tell them the second A (soft A) is a lower tone than the first A.

The USA does *not* have an official language. It's definitely not English, it's just the most spoken. It will never be native.
