That brought back some memories. I haven't loaded coal or used a coal furnace in decades, but I have fond memories of it growing up. Coal, wood, and kerosene are the classic Appalachian heat sources and my family used them all.

Danny, You always post really neat clean no vulgar videos, and being a Christian I appreciate that.
Your area of WV has all kinds of folks that are willing to help. Hope to meet you in person one of these days soon.
Stay safe and may God bless.

I was brought up on coal heat dad paid $5.00 a ton for it and the delivery shoveled it for us. Our coal bin was in the basement. I still use coal as a blacksmith got about 6 ton. Enjoyed the show.

Hello Dan, I've watched you with Leo and now here I am watching you on your channel. I still use coal and wood, when it gets around 35 to 40. Use my heat pump above that. I've worked there and over next to Bishop on the strip. Thank you for sharing this, God Bless you! (Glen). WV.

My moms family were raised in Coaldale, near Mayberry , Welch. Bluewell. Mercer County. Bramwell high school millionares. Blizzards was the coal company. Freewill Baptist church our family helped build. It's still there. We have a lot of relatives buried close by. My uncle Ray Belcher was the grave digger. He was about the last one buried there in the 1980s.
