Wild timing, I saw them a lil over a week ago during their first live show in about a decade. absolutely the best performance i have ever seen. What is already present in the studio recordings translates to truly unparalleled energy live
Nice, a blood bros song! I requested giant swan a while back so it's great to see more from them, and this is one of their best songs. Johnny Whitney is insane!! I've really never heard another singer like him. But the other vocalist Jordan Blilie is great too.
A lot of great bands I grew up with lately , I love the aggressive controlled noise and vocals like this. Up there with at the drive in , Black Eyes, Arab on Radar etc
One thing about Blood Brothers, they really leaned into surrealism when it came to lyrics. That said, at least a few songs I can think of from them actually do have a specific meaning despite the juxtaposition of words. Every Breath Is A Bomb, for example. And honestly against the chaos of the music I find that surrealism works extremely well to create a pretty cohesive aesthetic. For me anyway hah!
One of my favorite bands, although this is the album where Johnny Whitney’s vocals started to become a bit…too shrill…like almost to the point of sounding out of key at times. Preferred the previous albums.

jealous af, not even coming within 3 states of me.
Their such a great band, they have a really great style, very unique within their genre. I can see the vocals being very polarising, but I love it.

This band is so much more influential than anybody gives them credit for
Them and Circa Survive are like the unsung heroes of rock in the 2000s

Well that was definitely a surreal story they told here 😅
Holy shit lol so excited for this
One of my all time favorite bands. This was my myspace song for awhile lol
Oh wow! I totally forgot about putting a song on your myspace page. That unlocked some memories :)
Crimes was peak. Can't wait to see the reunion show.
SKRAMZ BABY YEAHHHHH
I love blood brothers but I like Johnny's work in headwound city more.

Weird to call this screamo. Burn piano island burn is their best album.
i never liked that 90's San Diego [Three One G / Gold Standard Laboratories] sound
absolutely unbearable! this must be a bad joke. i love finding gems
