It really cool. I am planning on doing the same thing to mine. Down to the 4 pin trailer plugs. Thou I plan to do mine slightly different. I have a 600 watt bluetooth amp. I am going to use that and turn my radio hole into a cubby hole with the marine front. I am going to use 2 trailer plugs, but I am going to alternate them. The one plug I am going to use it for 2 powers, a power with ignition and a ground. The power, ignition, and ground for the amp. The second power is gonna be for power ports. One cigarettes style one on the outside, and one usb style in the cubby hole. So on a nice day, I can have my phone mounted on the handle bars. If I get caught in the rain I can put the phone in the cubby hole and still charge it. The other wires will be for other speakers some day. I plan to get an ultra classic type trunk some day with the speakers. I'm going with 6x9's on mine. For the cubby hole I am using a clear sterolite container so I can mount some LED's and make the cubby hole light up a bit. I think it'll look pretty good.
Awesome work man! I’ve been following along and have learned a lot! If I may make a request, would you go over the wiring of the radio, amp, and speakers on your next video? I recently had a fairing installed on my road king in Daytona but don’t have an amp right now. I’d like to add one in the future and it would be really helpful understanding the wiring a little better before I went ahead with it.
Thanks for watching! I will cover the amplifier, stereo, and speaker wiring more specifically when the final installation occurs, after the painting process is complete. Stay tuned!
looks like you didn't use 4 or 8 gauge wire for the power and ground like most amps want you to use, have you had any problems with your wiring since you've had some time to use it this year? Do you know what gauge wire that trailer harness was?
I used two of each power lead for the power to the amp, so even though it's still not 4 or 8 gauge, it hasn't had any problems. Ive used it all summer and so far so good. Thanks for watching!
Thanks Nate, I have been looking for a video on how others have added the after market fairings. And your video log is the best by far. Keep them coming
Excellent 👍
Thanks for watching!
Also, you can move your passing lamps forward. There’s another hole in those brackets that they can slide into.
I didn’t see the link. I like the fiberglass fairing and looks good with the road king.
The fairing came from the USA trailer store on Ebay, if that was the link you are referring to. Thanks for watching!
Been looking forward to this!
Thanks for watching!
Bleed the brake at the banjo at the lever. And my fairing is super close to my lights also

Nice! Seems like that would work out well. I like the idea of the power ports. Thanks for watching!

When you wired the speakers are they all wired as front speakers? Front and rear?
They were wired on the front and rear channels of the amplifier, as the amplifier is a four channel amp. Thanks for watching!
What brand stereo protector did you use?
It's a Scorpion MCB-I
