FILM DESCRIPTION:
Journalist Eddie Brock is trying to take down Carlton Drake, the notorious and brilliant founder of the Life Foundation. While investigating one of Drake's experiments, Eddie's body merges with the alien Venom -- leaving him with superhuman strength and power. This bond and his carring for his host is actually one of the main reasons why venom is a outcast and a "loser" under the symbiots. The other symbiots see him as an complet phsychopath for this, because symbiots usually just completly take over their host.

Dimension Zone All of the villains in the MCU are power-hungry, simple as that. DC (not including the Justice League) has villains focused on more serious things. Sure they want power, but they’re not hungry for it and use it to ruin the Hero’s life and the peoples’ because they want to and it gives them a name. They also forge rivalries with the Hero and make it into their own game. They assert their dominance, which is what a true villain is. Perhaps a great example of this and the greatest villain of all is the Joker.

This is an important scene.....it showed that Venom was willing to save Eddie Brock, and it also showed that it was willing to risk itself by jumping into the fire of the jet thrusters....way more than enough to kill it!!!!

It is said that the symbiotes are only vulnerable to fire and sound because its sensation recreates the conditions under which Knull the symbiote god forged them from the eldrige darkness
That makes sense because knull loved darkness and quiet, but when the creation happened he created the symbiotes to get rid if light and sound
Yep, their Weakness to Fire and Sound is Psychosomatic instead of Genetic which explains why Symbiotes can overcome it through a Variety of means.

First watching of this movie, I didn't really understand that "Have a nice life!" oneliner as a final middle finger to Riot. But now it struck my mind, as Riot's host was boss of the LIFE company 🤦♂️
Realized the same thing watching this through again. In fact, “Have a nice life” was a sort of slogan for Drake’s company. It’s even what he said to Eddie at the end of their interview. Otherwise, that line seems completely out of place.
It’s a callback to what Drake told Eddie when he ruined his career.
