I think they might be IR sensors, actually. I could be wrong, but it seems weird that they use light sensors. I guess one way to find out is to go into a room with no windows or lights on and see if it still works.
@@BopDiva wow. That’s crazy. I guess it was 2003 though, so they probably didn’t have the technology or it wasn’t as common. I was thinking that it was like the loopz and simon air.
The sensors are different than that. They may work the same, but they’re two different sensors. I think Loopz and Simon Air are the same, and they may be the same with Groove It, I don’t know.
This is basically like a predecessor to Simon Air. There are 8 moves that you have to do across 5 photosensitive sensors. The sensors activate when they detect darkness in their close surroundings. It will tell you Scratch, Slide, and Zoom to start. But after every 12, it will unlock a new move until about the 120 mark. It shows you through lights which sensors you are supposed to hover over. After about 120, it will do Lights Out, and you have to remember what the move was without guidance from lights. Here’s how to do each move: • Slide: Hover your hand over the top from left to right. • Zoom: Hover your hand over the top going from the front to the back. • Scratch: Hover your hand over the bottom sensor through the hole of the game. • Chop: Hover your hand along the front side and slide your hand down from the top sensor to the bottom. • Zip: Hover your hand over the top from right to left. • Flow: Hover your hand along the back side and slide your hand down from the top sensor to the bottom. • Carwash: Hover your hand on the top from left to right and immediately to left again, making a scrub motion. • Rock-and-roll: Hover your hand over the top, then quickly to the bottom one. • Hip-hop: Hover your hand over the bottom, then quickly to the top one. • Kung-fu: Hover your hand along the front side from the top to the bottom, then back up to the top. • Swirl: Hover your hand in a counterclockwise motion over the top sensors.
@@BopDiva now I get it. Sounds like something I could manage, which is a good thing because this is on my list. At least I wouldn’t have to stare a hole through the lights like I did with that Loopz thing I had when I was younger. My siblings and I wore it out.
Yeah I was looking at different test mode videos and came across this one and I figured I would reach out to you to see how you were doing. I can’t remember the last time I talk to you probably this past summer
@@BopDiva Long time ago, I was in a mental health group and we had Groove Its, I was the first and only one in my group to get the Grand Master rank of Groove and the max score of 300.
I would do it again, but I created the titles on it with iMovie for a Mac. iMovie doesn’t work on my Mac anymore. I might get a new Mac sometime in the future, so we’ll see.
LOL. Back when I lived in Bismarck at the college dorm, there was an Exxon gas station on the one end of town that had a street called “Jericho Road”. My best friend’s name is Jericho.

I’ve done that and it doesn’t register in the dark.

So how exactly does this thing work? wikipedia is useless at explaining it in practical terms

Hey. I just saw this video. I haven't talked to you in almost a year. How are you?
I’m good. I had my first anniversary on RUclips on Feb 9. Things are going well for me.
How about you? How’s it going?
Doing pretty good actually.
That’s good to hear!

Cain, can you please beat Groove It?
I’ve tried to beat Groove It before. Off camera, of course. My highest score is 132.

I don’t even know if I have the video files I used for this anymore.
I am on my way to a swimming pool, and i saw this street sign that says "Cain Circle"
