Ha this is the first time I heard this back in 1973 rolling up Hwy 1 to Fort Brag, California , to do some Abalone diving and loved this song ever since. How time has gone by miss those years and the friends I had. Play on Lou
The legendary rock and roll animal band. Not flawless on these recordings, but revenged at the Howard Stein's show, the rock and roll animal album sounds phenomenal, up to this day.
Muy buenas todas pero por desgracia la última, la del LP, fue recortada por los ingenieros de la RCA, la versión real es, si cabe, aún más increíble. RIP Lou Reed, Dick Wagner y Pentti Glan.
Sólo quedan Vivos .de esta OBRA MAESTRA.DEL ROCK'N'ROLL. PRAKASH JOHN. STEVE HUNTER.. EL RESTO YA SON INMORTALES.. Gracias a VDS. ME ENAMORÉ DEL ROCK AND ROLL.❤️
You really can't here Steve Hunter's or Dick Wagner's guitar playing mostly Ray Colcords organ playing .The later recordings get better The New York shows the best
not bad this recording at all considering how old it is and how it's been put together man, this is THE BAND, they were the best band for hire in history, another amazing example is the 1977 Alice Cooper Show, pretty amazing recordings considering the times. All started because the friendship between the producer Bob Ezrin and Steve Hunter himself since they met for the first time which made Lou Redd ask them to do the album Berlin which curiously was very bad received and not played by them until 40 years later. The stuff legends are made of certainly.
These audio recordings, it's a shame they are not also recorded on video, from Lou Reed's 1973 Berlin tour in Europe and the USA, are the PHILOSOPHER'S STONE OF ROCK'N'ROLL
Lou Reed was the artist along with Bowie that allowed me to escape Southern rock
Never thought about Bowie and Reed that way but you're right, Rock and Roll Animal and the Ziggy Stardust albums changed my musical taste.
I rediscovered southern rock but it took a while.. Thanks for the reply
Wow what can you say from his first album until now. , I mean come on this guy is cool
Pretty well leaves his contemporaries in the dirt while playing in the dirt.

Glasgow Apollo 1973 anyone got a time machine
This was a time when LR was at his pinnacle in performance and stamina….after RR animal tour concluded, it went slowly down hill for him!
Great
boa de mais ✌
A Velha Escola De Lou
I heard a distinct Brit accented voice from the audience screaming "Sweet Jane", so this must be in Britain.
Very good version!!. Also the 'interlude' from Wagner's guitar.....Yes, New York City the BEST, in fact after recording in the album: 'R'n'R Animal'!

Hola acabo de leerlo dime?
Por este poema yo me enamore de Rock'n'Roll.
Un sincero saludo 😘
Recording quality is not as good as Rocknroll Animal but this is worth checking out.
It´s because this is an unofficial release !
Each version is unique onto itself…despite the recording quality
