Watching your videos is such a calming and engrossing experience. But then seeing you occasionally beat the bejeezus out of something, like the bevelling tool, it occurred to me that you're the Bob Ross of crafting!

Yvonne, I get so many tips from watching your vids. Thanks so much for sharing with us. You're good at so many different mediums, but your detail work on your leather pieces is on another plane. Keep up the great work!

I am always looking for trues craftsman on RUclips and I barely ever find one....when I found you a few weeks ago with a dragon eye tutorial I knew I had to subscribe. Your work is lovely and I know it is just as well made using the proper techniques and proper supplies.

edge slicker... lol.. I like it... It is a Burnishing tool or Burnisher which makes the edges of the leather "slick". :)

Thank you for such wonderful and relaxing video!! After watching your videos I now have a greater sense of appreciation for artists and what they do when they create. I wish I had your videos when I was just starting out with chainmaille but I'm glad that I have your videos now since its given me more confidence to try leatherwork and wire wrapping. You are an amazing artist that is very relaxing to watch. I have severe anxiety and I've found that watching your tutorials it helps me to avert anxiety attacks. Thank you for sharing with all of us.

Kate B I whole heartedly agree with the calming quality of Yvonne's videos! I offen listen to the longer Q&A ones while drifting off to sleep. Her voice has a friendly, warm and soothing effect that drowns out any negative or racing thoughts or feelings.

I've been watching your channel for some time and really look forward to your videos (not just jewelry, though). I like the chain you use for extensions, but couldn't quite catch the name of your resource for it. Thanks for being real.

You are very talented. What about punching a hole for the jump ring... So you can keep the point and not have to cut it? A tiny silver colored bead at the base of the bead would tie in with the silver jump ring

I have a question, shouldn't the triquetra's point be on top then it being upside down? Can you make one with the point being right side up and the two glass beads being on each side of the remaining points of the triquetra? I'm a charmed fan and I love the show and also love the triquetra symbol.

Hey Yvonne! I went to Ring Lord to look at chain and I have no idea what I'm looking for because I can't tell the size of the chain by the pictures. What size is the chain you use in this video ? (I mean size of the links, not length) I know you got that chain at Michaels, but I wanted a reference for buying chains n the future. Thanks !

Hi Yvonne, I just got all my leather working stuff from Tandy Leather here in Australia 😀 it's more difficult than you make it look😂 my issue is which hand to hold the tool with and which to hold the mallet with. My first instinct was to hold the mallet in my dominant hand like when I hammer in a nail but my left hand couldn't position the bevelling tool very well. I noticed you use your dominant hand for the mallet, did you find it awkward at first? I tried using them the other way around and it felt weird but I think the tooling looked better. Do you have any advice? Should I teach my left hand to hammer or tool? Later on will I run into problems if I use them the lefty way (ie mallet in left hand) any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Never mind. Brain must have had some lose wiring yesterday. Mallet in right and tool in left😀

Judy Fountain it's probably safe to assume Tandy Leather. I think she gets the vast majority of her leather tools and supplies from them. It looks like the Craftool Pro brand they sell😀

I use chop sticks to craft all the time! I've never seen anyone else do that! lol! You could actually glue some sandpaper around it for this purpose. I've noticed you cough in videos where you are dying leather. Are you allergic to the dyes? Or the smell of them anyway?

Hey girly, got your return messages tonight, working, burning that midnight oil, eh?
Bottom line on the knot is it stands for the father, son, and the holy ghost! And that my dear is your lesson from today on Celtic history, oh yeah there are several names for you two knots in one. I shall have that ready tommorrow, PS You LOOK IRISH!!!
