I pray more stores like this grow all over the country! I’m already paying the price for clean ingredients - I’ll gladly pay the price for options like this.
This restaurant and market is about a 45 minute drive from me. Well worth it, it is refreshing to be able to go to a clean restaurant and not have to be concerned with eating poisoned food.
I live in one of the wealthiest, most populated counties in a huge state - I have never been in a store like Herban Market. This looks amazing! (And I’m not complaining - I am grateful for the options and resources I do have available in my area…)
Aaw the bean card at the end reminded me of the Bean Soup Lady drama from last year and the sticker you created 😂 Great vlog Alex and team. More of these please!
Hopefully word gets out that it’s possible to have a place like this and be successful. The people want to have the option to eat and shop quality food when they can.
I love this so much!! I need to find something like this in the SoCal area (that’s not LA). Is this Seed Oil Safe certification a new thing that is across the country?
Check out the Seed Oil Scout App! They've started the program, and they have a community driven map to track restaurant ingredients and cooking practices!
While this store is very cool, the food I had did leave something to be desired since it didn’t have much flavor. I won’t write this place off entirely and would be willing to try something else, though!
Everyone saying “just make it yourself” or “you get what you pay for” needs a reality check that not all people can just allocate funds from certain non priorities (supporting a woke subscription for example). Some people truly cannot afford it because they are working a ton of hours per week are not the typical upper middle class family or at the top of a MLM. And they would just “make it themselves so they are not paying for the convenience” but are too busy taking care of their family. Not everyone is wasting money and could afford it if they allocated money towards organic foods. No judgment towards Alex, just hoping many in the crunchy community will see this. To clarify, I follow and love some crunchy/natural people and am not just against all their ideals. I just think if markets like this truly cared about making America healthy, they would work on finding ways to lower the cost. No one is asking free organic foods, just reasonably priced (I know there is nuance. Not going to write a whole research paper on this). This comment in its entirety is kind and respectful so if you reply, do so kindly:) Still love this podcast
I’m assuming we mere mortals are priced out of this glory… Any idea if they intend to spread around middle-TN for the peasants who are financially responsible and have some savings to invest on healthy foods for the kids?!? 🤷♀️😅
@@sw6155 💯. It used to be the sign of wealth was having a double chin and a sizeable waist. The script has flipped. Only the Uber wealthy can afford the super healthy options while us normies get what we get and we don’t throw a fit. 😂 Organic non gmo milk for your toddler? $8/gallon.
Go carnivore with mostly ground beef from Aldi. Most cost effective way to feed your family some of the cleanest, most nutrient dense food on the planet. Eating ruminant meat, even if it was grainy finished, is cleaner than all of the chemical sprayed fruits and vegetables, and you get so much more nutrition bang for your buck.
I think if more of these places open competition will drive the prices down. They are unfortunately competing with the industrial food complex that hires cheap labor to keep their prices artificially low.
Coveting is a sin and not good for your health. Coveting is a sin and not good for your health. Coveting is a sin and not good for your health. ....but I want this so bad 😂
Only the wealthy can shop there. 😁 Or live in Franklin, for that matter. Are you a normal person with a normal job? Sorry! I love Herban Market, don’t get me wrong, but $20 for a sandwich times 4 people in a family….throw in taxes and beverages…you’re not getting out of there for less than $100.
I was thinking that's probably the case. I keep thinking about stopping by there when we are in the area, but I know better. My pocketbook would hate me!
I love them too but they need a good competitor, if not a few more! Also, their food isn’t as good as it use to be. Ask any OG regular - the Caesar salad isn’t the same!!!! Currently their health inspection score is 75 out of 100. & that’s an easy fix!

Like this kind of video compared to your normal ones, but one small thing that surprised and bothered me was you kept saying C.E. Instead of A.D., & B.C.E instead of B.C.. i get the world wants to change it but didn't expect a Christian creator to say it But like i said, I would like to see you do more like these

My favorite restaurant in the entire world ❤
This is my dream grocery store! Everything looked so amazing!

More videos like this, Alex!
Alex exploring natural stores around the country!
Nooo don’t tell anyone else about this gem! It’s packed every time we go as is! 😂 But, really, they are the best!
Thanks for finding stores like this Alex! We love the Nashville/Franklin area.
Heading back to Nashville in May and I’m definitely adding this to the itinerary!! 💖

What a neat place!! Thank you for sharing!
Salivating in Idaho, wishing we had something like that
We ate there last year. Was awesome. I wish we had one closer to where we live.
Aww Nashville is my hometown! Great to see a Franklin business being featured!🤩💚
Ugh I want this is SW FL!! Such a cool space and SO convenient!
So jealous! I want this in Flagstaff, Arizona!
Great thumbnail Alex and team!

Incredible!
Oooh nice!
On my list to go there!
This is a dream
Given it is in Franklin, i can't imagine how insanely expensive this place is!
I’ve been there!

Alex🌹😉
I did not just see them cutting up that beautiful food on a plastic cutting board 💀💀💀💀💀💀
Are all their workers legal? On visas? Cheap labor?
I have to go to Tennessee just to get a good meal because my part of California just isn't giving this quality.
While this store is very cool, the food I had did leave something to be desired since it didn’t have much flavor. I won’t write this place off entirely and would be willing to try something else, though!
All looks great except for that plastic cutting board they were using lol. 😂

Then make it yourself and still support their efforts. Change doesn’t happen by complaining 🤍
@ I do. Hence my point about affordability.

Thia is (along with a lot of other things) why Nu-Nashville sucks.
