Shack... They don't have a 7k station. That's an independent guild, that just happens to be in that system. They won't fight, or participate unless you attack them first. TALK to the Merchant Guilds for potential trade. Talk to the Artisans, and get yourself big piles of Unity. Talk to the Think Tank science based enclave to buy research, and recruit a Scientist to aid your research directly. Talk to the Mercenary Enclave(s) and purchase Admirals and/Or Generals. AND if they're still available, purchase entire fleets from them as well. Which can be extremely useful if you find yourself in want of more ships! Like, during an invasion/surprise attack while your fleet is out of position You can only have 1 Scientist/Science Ship PER PLANET to Assist Research. You'll wanna spread those out when they're not busy. You have a planet with -9 Amenities. They need your attention. You have Motes in space. Make sure you (RE)build your mining stations. Also, you have plenty of Exotic Gas! You can absolutely use that Edict. As well as several others available. Your special resource income is better than you think it is, and your primary economy is strong as hell.. Your Anchorage stations should be all Anchorages, and the building that doubles each Anchorages Fleet Cap addition. You have easily 50+ trade value in your territory! You need to make a handful of stations that are centralized, and is within 2 jumps of all Trades value producing systems. You go all Trade Hubs, and the Building Slot build an; Off-World Trading Company to double all trade value collected by that stations Trade Hubs. Easily net you the better part of 100+/- Energy Credits per month. If you find yourself somewhat maxed out with some resources, perhaps dump excess into your sectors? Give them a little help, ya know? Use your MASSIVE stockpile of food to Encourage growth on many/all of your planets. Change your 'War Doctrine" to Rapid Deployment. Build Autochthon Monuments ON EVERY PLANET! Get that "mediocre at best" unity production up a little. ;) There are a few more things... But, I'll leave it at that.. this is already a pretty long comment. But, I hope some of this helps a little!!
@@buttnuttz6119 well, I don't like nuts in my butt... but here we are. I sympathize with dajosh though, even if Shack doesn't learn how to play this game (after 8 seasons of playing it?!?), it still can be cathartic to simply write a comment with all of the things that he should be doing. Years ago, he claimed that he wanted to learn how to play this game, but he never did, so it's irritating to watch him make the same mistakes over and over again, over multiple seasons. It would be foolish for us to expect him to change at this point, which is why I don't write suggestions in the comments anymore. However, I understand why dajosh wants to help. Also, Shack is entertaining, despite his mistakes, so it's still fun to watch him play!
Shack, First thing, that 7.5 k station is a trader station, secondly you should form a research agreement with the death watch. Lastly, you need to take both the wormhole and the command structure. You also should push and take their capital. Also, you should upgrade the wormhole station, and claim Elford system, Quesh is the planet. You need to refit the liberation class Venator to have the new fighter craft.
So, who else slapped there heads when he talked about making Sathama Prime a trade world when the whole reason he colonized it was for the bonus to food production.
I have literally watched this entire season so far in less than a week. Absolutely loving it! This is the first season I've seen so far and I'm pretty impressed! Keep up the great work!
Shack, I'd recommend that you build up defenses in the Ulym system since it's the intersection for about 3 different wormholes leading across the galaxy, so if anyone wanted to try and conquer you they'd probably have to hit that sytem first. Make Cadian certified. (yeah yeah I know different universes...)
Shack, I'd recommend building up Alderaan's starbase. It's much closer to the Khanate's main territory and can support the Servitors. For gateways, only empires with the gateway tech can use them. There's also the Federation fleet that you haven't managed at all on tech and are severely outdated, making them much weaker than your main fleet.
If controlling individual ships is what you ask, then I got a mod for you. Honestly idk why you aren't using it since it's one of the best mods for Stellaris. I'm talking about ''New Ship Classes'' or ''NCS''. Not only you get a tech for controlling ships individualy (at the cost of no bonuses) but you get bunch of new ships to play with. You have the Strike Cruiser that has a Interdictor-like ability to prevent retreat for most enemies, the Battlecruiser, the Dreadnought, A proper Carrier ship which starts as light carrier into Superheavy Carrier and much more stuff. War doctrines work best situational. ''Defense in depth'' is bad, don't pick it. It only works on home territory and most of time, you don't want to stay inside your borders. ''Hit and Run'' is not bad, but it's based on chance and most ships just destroyed if the enemy is too strong or many. ''Rapid Deployment'' is great, sublight speed for responding to sudden threats and cuts travel time and weapon range to shoot first in a engagement. ''No retreat'' is for when you are sure the 33% firerate boost will allow to just crush the enemy before it can do damage. Here's a weird thing, you won't be able to get the final level of thrusters. The Dark matter thrusters are exclusive to Fallen Empires which you deactivated them before starting your game. Same thing with the Lv6 shields. It's weird because you can research the tech that allows you to extract dark matter, but you can't use it unless you have the two other techs. Stellaris Scientists haven't heard what the scientific method is apparently. It's still good to use auxilirary fire-control on ships that have Large weapons, those have average accuracy. The Naval academy only works on the station it's in, so place under your main shipyard. Also, exp for ships in Stellaris is stupid. A ship needs 100 exp to reach ''Experienced'' rank, 1000 exp to reach ''Veteran'' rank and 10000 fucking exp to reach ''Elite'' rank. A ship in Stellaris doesen't survive that long to reach Veteran. And there's no training mechanic where they can get exp over time just by doing simulations. I just use a mod to bring the exp required to a more reasonnable level. As for an empire to play (since many are suggesting new ones), I think it's about time that you try a Gesalt Consciousness. Hive minds and Machine empires. Machine empires would fit more your demand of playing tall.
Nice chill episode, it did go by fast. I'd focus on the Strategic Center instead of the wormhole. Death Watch seems to be rated pathetic against you so not a big threat. If you have the worm hole and they have the other side then you will start having border friction. Since you're the Republic try to make peace with the Death Watch, at least for now. They seem to want a research agreement. It may piss off the Revelry but they're frenemies and not part of the alliance. So let the Revelry and Death Watch fight it out while you target the Avarrians, Empire, and Mon Cal's. Changing your War Policy would've helped during your last War. Maybe not win the war, but perhaps a few battles. I think you still have trait points in your species. While you're there can also turn off migration controls so pops can go from over crowded planets to open ones. You can activate Gateways now! Look for some that might be worth it.
Since the empire is capped off, you could out produce them and wipe them out, and fortify the system to the South of the Mon cals so you can deal with the empire and they can't do a thing
Growing up on Alderaan, Chao Tech was not a typical citizen of the Republic. Being so near Servitor Space, he was far more comfortable with high tech gadgetry than dealing with the upper crust social circles of the Core Worlds. Seeing the havoc caused by the Avian Wars made him understand the cost of conflicts. It wasn't long at all before he rose up through the ranks and made a name for himself. He was appointed head of the Pirate Prevention Task Force and given command of a brand new Liberation Class Battleship - the Kalistia. A support fleet of ships from all throughout the Federation would support him. A mix of Servitor drones, Alliance and Calamari citizens, and Clones from the core. From the staging area in Pandora, the course was set for Keso. A small band of pirates have been helping themselves to passing merchants, while the goverment was focused on rebuilding the southern infastructure and ending the war. As soon as the fleet hit local Keso space, the support ships moved into position to keep the pirates occupied. Looking out over the silver bow of the Kalistia, Chao remained calm as his crew targeted the engines of the small craft. Calling out each shot "Fire" the mighty turbo lasers would streak out, charging the sky with their bright beams. Seconds later the small pirate crafts would spark as their engines sputtered and the ships slowed to a halt, only long enough for the support crafts to tear into them, hulls exploding into silent puffs. The ships dealt with, the Kalistia lumbered around to bear down on the crater they called a base. The opening salvos busting the rock open, and the treasures spilling out into the dark, empty space. The salvage would be used to boost the local economy and build more luxury housing for citizens of the Republic. Safety, that was what Chao and his task force would bring to the northern spiral of Republic Space.
Me when shack just put a research speed scientist on a science ship: 🤦♂️ In what galaxy can a scientist research technology on a science ship. Shack, put that scientist in researching technology, where he is ACTUALLY useful.
I really enjoy your Stellaris playthroughs. As an idea for your next season, maybe a proper Armco Megacorp going Weyland-Yutani style, hunting for tech and artefacts and doing all kinds of shady stuff. The Kurogane ship set (mod) has amazing looking ship models that would fit really well.
Captain, a possible course of action to gain the Avarian territories, just before going to war with them, you could demand for them to be your vassal with plans to integrate them in the future with influence. 🎟👽
Shack should do a paradox mega campaign for next season It’s when you play through each paradox game in historical order starting with CK2 and ending with stellaris. If you want more info there are quite a few on RUclips.
Maybe take Sanctuary? Kinda love that plan. Politics and claiming Make sure you declare war as soon as possible so that no one can ally up with them. You can claim during the actual war anyway. I think that you should only take the territory on you should prioritize claiming the territory on your side of the wormhole, but try to take as much territory on the other side as you can so the death watch can't expand much. Research stuff Try investing in the claim influence cost reduction in the society section so you can claim more territory faster. Naval capacity isn't that important right now because your economy is really strong and the fleet is already huge. Also try looking into regenerative hull tissue so that your fleets can get their hull back after a fight and ships last longer. Stations Try focusing on getting defense stations operational for future conflicts. Try looking more into starbase and defense station hull points and other station research so that you can get much stronger stations. Make sure to focus on gateways your territory like Nicor and systems' like the one with the strategic centre. It'll all help for when the endgame crisis comes around. Military Try to organize a defense of the Kings Lost Servitors during the war. As an ally, they've been valuable. Maximise the command limit and make sure that your ships are all organised into decently sized fleets. There's a lot of small fleets which can still be organised lying around. Ship designer and fleet manager stuff Many of the smaller designs have crystal hull plating, though your fleet is mostly battleships, so it doesn't matter that much. The Liberation has relatively low shields compard to the venator. You can also build some ships for the federation so that you there won't be too many corvettes running around, and you still get more warships, without using up more naval capacity. I hope someone finds this stuff helpful. Cheers
[Economics Minister] Captain, all the planets that have overcrowding issues need more city districts. If we are full on districts, we can CHANGE Energy, Industrial & Agricultural ones into City districts. It will be very beneficial to the general welfare of the planets
Shack I hate it when you say that you're gonna make sathama prime into a farming world and then you put down mines??? Take notes on what you're gonna do with the planet.
I also recomend you go war with death watch just it be cool to see and 2nd with how they are i think it be ebst to take them down or try and get them to join you
@ TheXPGamers are you aware you can open console and type Gamepad and get full control over the camera with a playstation/xbox control connected to the pc? You be able to get shots that you couldn't do with the mouse and keyboard :D
ANN: Admiral Hackett of the 5th Alliance Fleet defeated Khan at Battle of Asgard, confirmed death of Khan. He gave up managing to escape, and entire Khan's horde went into chaos. With suffering heavy losses, even three Fighter Carriers, Systems Alliance won the war.
Quark and Elim on root beer! Quark: I want you to try something for me. Take a sip of this. Elim Garak: What is it? Quark: A human drink. It's called root beer. Elim Garak: [unwilling] Uh, I don't know... Quark: Come on, aren't you just a little bit curious? [Garak sighs, takes a sip and gags] Quark: What do you think? Elim Garak: It's *vile*! Quark: I know. It's so bubbly, and cloying, and *happy*. Elim Garak: Just like the Federation. Quark: But you know what's really frightening? If you drink enough of it, you begin to *like* it. Elim Garak: It's insidious! Quark: *Just* like the Federation.
Might be overwhelming for him to have to edit more than 3-4 videos a week of which 2 are set for specific days to need to be uploaded, and I don't think he can afford an editor. Although I'm not sure I do suppose it is possible he has a editor to simply be able to get the AOTR and stellaris campaigns to be uploaded in time, unless now he edits those himself and hires people to do the other ones. And tbh I don't know as I'm just speculating since I suppose that I've missed information about this if now he has ever shared any, but it just simply isn't that easy to pump out videos without lower editing quality tbh (unless u got a editor/s helping out)
If you have a stupid amount of tibana coming in just set up a monthly trade to give some of that away for some energy which you can then use to buy something you are short on.
The grand republic (empire, lol) wishes to inform all galactic entities that all wormholes and space gates are now our property along with any system immediately surrounding it those who do not comply will be exterminated
Shack wants to have a spacestation over the Wormhole armed with 5.000 photon torpedoes, and phaser banks on all levels. That are not illusions made by thoron fields and duranium shadows.. (Oops, wrong franchise) Shack wants to have a spacestation over the wormhole, so that he can put on a cloak and say "Now witness the firepower of this armed and operational battlestation"
Schack as much as I want to see you react to all the cool new story stuff in the last Stellaris DLC. I think it's time to get into all the other Paradox Grand Strategy Games or Age of Wounders Planetfall.
Hey shack Love the series this far. Keep up the good work. Suggestions: Can you give the federation fleet upgrades as well so they are not out of date so they can fight by your side on a stronger note? Is there a way you can make the next video twice as long for more action? Thanks shack for the content and see you in the next one
when i ,the viewer, sees the space amoeba breeding program to be researched and really wants to see shack use it but he never choses it :( 32:4536:53 chose it damit.......its right THERE...
omg shack lol u need the fire rate thats the problem with ur type of weapons they are slow firing but they hit like a freight train the other weapons can out shoot u heavily
Doesn’t Shack lose so much valuable research time by not pausing immediately when research is completed? Especially when time is fast forwarded? It grinds my gears when he waits so long to assign new research.
The gateway will lead you to the L cluster. There are three outcomes going in the L cluster, the first is encountering a hostile nano bots with fleet power up to 50k, the second is encountering a friendly empire but will not be happy if you keep surveying and will go to war with similar fleet power as the first outcome. The last outcome is the best but least common outcome, you encounter a guy named gray made up of all the nano bots in the L cluster and will join you. He can be a level 10 governor, a 50 k single ship fleet or a very powerful ground unit. The L cluster has a lot of nano bots as a special resource that gives a lot of science and the second outcome, the empire will trade some nano bots to as a deterrent not to go further into their territory. I don’t recommend opening until you least have 50 k fleet power, but who knows you might get lucky.
Shack.... use auto-upgrade. it automatically updates the design of the ship but doesn't change the actual setup. It is nothing like the crappy auto-generate.
I say finish up what's left of the cons and then dismantle the pathetic Empire and then just focus on technology and focus on your worlds and then you should destroy the rest of the three factions that's still left in your Galaxy then become the galactic Republic. Then start 66 And then turn into the Galactic eternal Empire then conquer your allies then rule for thousands of eons mu hahaha hahaha Shaq the immortal emperor and then the comment that was talking about that Empire thing then that can start and that word begins.
Don't forget about the wheel system where all those robots ever texting that star system what's up ring around sun don't forget about it it is important for this people to be liberated you have the technology did you destroy those protecting robots please help the people that are in the ring system
Shack there is a society research that makes claims cheaper that you have totally ignored I belive it is called galactic campaign or something similar.
For a one planet challenge you could do another corporation run. Though have that the planet is under some sort of U.N that has banned the corp from colonizing and interfering with aliens unless attacked. So pacifist, materialist and maybe xenophobic (Though not in a malicious way). The mindset of this run would be that they want to be as self reliant as possible.
For me the best war Doctoron is deep space black site it give all the ships in your fleet auto regeneration of armor and hull helps a lot when u are try to fight wars that are far away from your shipyards
Shack u need to claim a new planet and name it Cadia. There u can build a vast army of clones were they will serve the Chancellors as the main bulk of ur army.
Sorry to say, found this quite boring. If you pair Fleet Logistics Office with Fleet Anchorage, you get +6 instead of +4 for each Anchorage. Put a different way, if you have 3 anchorages for +12, you can get +18 towards your Naval Cap. Also, if you have a Fleet Academy on the station you build the ship, it starts with 100 xp or Experienced and you get a bonus, +10% fire rate I believe. Third, if you have a hangar, dirtside or space, the ships count towards anti-piracy patrol. You are always building ships to fight pirates and pulling them for combat. You should consider these options for dedicated local forces, otherwise you will pull them and defeat your own strategy. I think you should take a break from Stellaris and play something else. Think about if this really the game for you . . . . eight seasons might be enough.
okay so you want to do that understand. To go a good plan but what about the Lost Kings servitors the machine people they you have a planet that is not been that has no senator or anyone who's there so could you please something there or put a build a flea or put something there a lot of ground troops so the planet so the planet could survive the war and be a strategic place right
Shack...

The Canadian opened up...

Capture all areas around Sanctuary and muster your fleets for a full scale attack. Like so Shack can see
On Quesh they are enslaving a bunch of Green Tide, that kinda explains the variety
Stellaris is my favorite! Keep it up, Shack!
Maaan, you've got me playing Stellaris again. xD
Hey shack if your ever lacking on a resource you can use the planet icon which has a cog next to it to get a focus for a planet that gives you bonuses
You should think about adding a governor to your planets. It may help with stability/ add a modifier that they produce.
Are going to at some point going to do a 40k series on Stellaris
Quark and Elim on root beer!
Quark:
I want you to try something for me. Take a sip of this.
Elim Garak:
What is it?
Quark:
A human drink. It's called root beer.
Elim Garak:
[unwilling] Uh, I don't know...
Quark:
Come on, aren't you just a little bit curious? [Garak sighs, takes a sip and gags]
Quark:
What do you think?
Elim Garak:
It's *vile*!
Quark:
I know. It's so bubbly, and cloying, and *happy*.
Elim Garak:
Just like the Federation.
Quark:
But you know what's really frightening? If you drink enough of it, you begin to *like* it.
Elim Garak:
It's insidious!
Quark:
*Just* like the Federation.
Hey shack. I know I'm late to the party, but PLEASE build up your wormhole station.
28:38 Shack you left one default PD on instead of the new one.
For the Republic!!
>Colonized Sathama purely because Lush grants a bonus to food production
>Builds exactly zero farms
When is space engineeres group survival coming out again
Please make more of this I can’t wait a weak for 1 episode
Feel the same
Might be overwhelming for him to have to edit more than 3-4 videos a week of which 2 are set for specific days to need to be uploaded, and I don't think he can afford an editor.
Although I'm not sure I do suppose it is possible he has a editor to simply be able to get the AOTR and stellaris campaigns to be uploaded in time, unless now he edits those himself and hires people to do the other ones.
And tbh I don't know as I'm just speculating since I suppose that I've missed information about this if now he has ever shared any, but it just simply isn't that easy to pump out videos without lower editing quality tbh (unless u got a editor/s helping out)
The thumbnail deceived me
The Federation is like Root Beer.
Did you load your new fighters onto your carriers yet captain? I didn’t see if you did.
Have you considered working on making one of you worlds into a ecumenopolis, so that your Republic can have a Coruscant?
You can’t make those, you can only find them in materialist fallen empires, of which there are none in this run it looks like.
@@hammyofdoom8355 Yes they can be built, however the Megacorp expansion is required
Hey u should keep researching concussion misiles they will advance the proton torpedoes too that r really strong
*FOR THE REPUBLIC*
Shack wants to have a spacestation over the Wormhole armed with 5.000 photon torpedoes, and phaser banks on all levels. That are not illusions made by thoron fields and duranium shadows.. (Oops, wrong franchise)
Shack wants to have a spacestation over the wormhole, so that he can put on a cloak and say "Now witness the firepower of this armed and operational battlestation"
The Empire has sat silent for too long.
Time to end those xenophobic tyrants!
when you only have 62 alloy income at 2350...oooof
[INTEL] Except for the ascension perk you have what you need to make an ecumapolis. Like Coruscant. An expensive but powerful world.
Yay for economy building.
A good one would be the divide
You should put large weapons on the rear of you artillery battleship not medium.
Be cool to see a multiplayer series
again Shack, you completely missed _FUSION MISSILES_
Schack as much as I want to see you react to all the cool new story stuff in the last Stellaris DLC.
I think it's time to get into all the other Paradox Grand Strategy Games or Age of Wounders Planetfall.
The next series must be the IMPERIUM OF MAN 💪💪💪💪
The humans are the worst in the game, I’m more of a machine and reptilian kinda guy.
Hey shack
Love the series this far. Keep up the good work.
Suggestions:
Can you give the federation fleet upgrades as well so they are not out of date so they can fight by your side on a stronger note?
Is there a way you can make the next video twice as long for more action?
Thanks shack for the content and see you in the next one
Can you install mods on console version?
No
Hey shack this might be late for you to notice but if you research space amoebas they are really good fighters
They’re not, they’re an early game tech and only useful if you have horrible tech.m
One thing you keep missing, well, you need governors for your worlds...... Would improve most statistics
YOU FORGOT TO UPGRADE THE EAGLE CLASS!
Galactic campaigns
Next season... Star Trek stellaris. Klingon!
There’s no good Star Trek mods.
Shack rebuild the gate
when i ,the viewer, sees the space amoeba breeding program to be researched and really wants to see shack use it but he never choses it :(
32:45 36:53 chose it damit.......its right THERE...
It’s not that great.
Wait hang on the horde leader died to skurvy
I am so evil Gunther.
I wonder how close to the imperial era capital ships the republic goes, or if The captain can build Mandator dreadnoughts?
Magneto = magenta (the color) Capt.
Petition to have shack finish off the empire and double the republic's size.
Intro music?
do a stellaris CIS campaign with all droids
omg shack lol u need the fire rate thats the problem with ur type of weapons they are slow firing but they hit like a freight train the other weapons can out shoot u heavily
That is not an L-gate; it is just a normal gateway. L-gates only appear in black hole systems.
Well now at least he knows
your forgetting the L drake event.
What mods did you use ???
Hope he plays a new series. The game has changed quite a bit.
Hello me I see me in that video xD
Finally you posted. What time do you normally post the video? Also, you are amazing
Any Idea what DLC's he has for this?
All of them, but Ancient Relics is not activated.
Shack.... use auto-upgrade. it automatically updates the design of the ship but doesn't change the actual setup. It is nothing like the crappy auto-generate.
Did McKnight die?
I say finish up what's left of the cons and then dismantle the pathetic Empire and then just focus on technology and focus on your worlds and then you should destroy the rest of the three factions that's still left in your Galaxy then become the galactic Republic. Then start 66
And then turn into the Galactic eternal Empire then conquer your allies then rule for thousands of eons mu hahaha hahaha Shaq the immortal emperor and then the comment that was talking about that Empire thing then that can start and that word begins.
second also will group survival ever come back.
distilled water The one with Morph no it isn’t coming back it has been replaced several times by now
That is depressing but just like Half life three I remain hopeful
distilled water And just like Half Life 3 it’ll never happen (I’m kidding I’m not that big of an ass)
Don't forget about the wheel system where all those robots ever texting that star system what's up ring around sun don't forget about it it is important for this people to be liberated you have the technology did you destroy those protecting robots please help the people that are in the ring system
im just happy that my Union of Iron as survived this long. long live the space dwarves!
Shack there is a society research that makes claims cheaper that you have totally ignored I belive it is called galactic campaign or something similar.
next season idea: An Race that not fully interested into exploring, or claiming more space( 1 planet challenge type deal)??
Shack can you please turn off your sector I can't see
For a one planet challenge you could do another corporation run.
Sorry if I can support you on patron but underage going to be 17 soon MIT be able to do patron. Frist need job.
After this season I agreed he should take a break
okay so you want to do that understand. To go a good plan but what about the Lost Kings servitors the machine people they you have a planet that is not been that has no senator or anyone who's there so could you please something there or put a build a flea or put something there a lot of ground troops so the planet so the planet could survive the war and be a strategic place right
