Everts style is very smooth and he conserves energy for the full moto. He races with his head, always in control and within his limits. The others are knackered towards the end and make mistakes.
That everts bike was awesome works bike, mechanic said that the gearbox is built the way so he can ride whole moto in 3rd gear. If I remember right it was 490cc or so also, no production rules in mxgp like ama had before 86.

If you'd just look at Stefans body language when he was riding, you'd think he was going really slow, looks so calm and effortless. And as you said, if you then look at James, you see the speed he's trying to handle in his body language.

I would love to know what Bubba was thinking. I’m sure they told him before race and on pit board to secure Win for team over beating Everts but Bubba had to be tempted to take chances for the Moto win
The tracks are not suppose to "flow". They are suppose to separate the talent, and it is best when nobody has it wired. I don't know what it is about the newer generations who think everybody should be the same speed. That destroys the minds of the most talented. Roczen is a good example.

Not true. He raced in U.S. Motocross in 97. He went down in both Moto's while racing in the top 5. Emig won the overall while sick, 1-1.

They didn't seem to have the struggle over in europe with the ktms, those bikes won races in mxgp.

MXGP tacks lack flow. Riders are forced to case doubles because they’re spaced too far apart. It’s much less enjoyable to watch.
