Veronica Swift can sing anything with more power, style and soul than anyone I’ve heard. This is a big departure from swing and she crushes it! Amazing!
Thank you for the kind words, Cynthia! I was blown away when I first heard her 'This Bitter Earth' album, then realized she'd also written most of the arrangements herself, and to NOW have the pleasure of working on her original material with her over the last few months... I am TRULY excited for everyone to hear what we've got cooking these days. Such a joy to play with her. Hope to see you out there at a live show this coming year.
She is not really a swing player is she? All the jazz I've heard from her is Bebop influenced and Bebop is heavily influenced by the blues. You only have to listen to Charlie Parker to know that. So I would say this is just an extension of who she is. I like bebop but I also like Joplin. Additionally she is a really good arranger which contributes to the uniqueness of her songs; but nobody seems to mention that.
My Lordie! My fav jazz singer and queen of scat can really belt out the blues!!! She is so full of talent like a bottomless well. Bring on the buckets!
Incredibile come questa donna, questa grande cantante… questa grande musicista che oramai seguo da un po’ di tempo riesce a stupirmi sempre di più…. Veronica non fa musica …. è la musica !!! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 brava brava brava 🙏🙋🏻♂️

Amazing!!!!!!
Thank you! :)

Martin Sexton does that vocal distortion thing too. He uses a volume pedal so he can really crank up the distortion without getting too much feedback.
♥♥♥
okay. standing by.
Like that :)
That's a whole different kind of animal
Wait did she just do a guitar solo with her mouth
Indeed she did!
Amy Winehouse's clean and sober sister!
Janis reincarnated.
Remember me a little boy, called "Taylor" Swift, lol...
Hilarious
Imitating Janis Joplin.
Yes, and she is really good at it. But, that is just one of Veronica Swift's modes. I like her straight ahead jazz better myself.
Are you deaf? She sounds nothing like Joplin. She IS singing blues, though.
So, joykia, you got a problem with that? Janis never imitated an electric guitar like that. Do nothing till you hear from Veronica
More Mick Jagger than Janis Joplin.
@@glengamble526 How can you say that? Obviously influenced by Joplin.
