The only character that feels worse imo is Tash. Tash also behave like a teenager, but the loud obnoxious entitled one from a CW/teen show. Both Tash and her are the worst imo. The others are just uninteresting , and the same mold of dumb exposition BS, rather than grating and infuriating. They basically just stand there repeating the same stuff you just heard.
This is my main problem with the game. The companions. Overly light and actiony gameplay, loss of the grim atmosphere and tactics from Origins etc I can all deal with to some extent. It won't be as good, but I can deal with it. Bad writing is incredibly boring, but I can speed run it. If I like the companions enough to play still - or the world to get something from the game. But man, having literally no companions I want to hang out or talk to, but companions I actively would want to mod out of the game (looking at you Taash), this game is just unplayable.

And gameplay other than combat is literally walking along a set path every mission, room to room or small area to small area, finding a chest in a corner somewhere, fighting creatures every now and then, and solving puzzles fit for a 5 year old. And I can't believe that every puzzle literally has one of your companions TELL you what to do - every single bloomin' time! Hand-holding of the worst kind. It literally treats the player like an idiot. It's just... DULL! Luckily they didn't get my money in the end, and I'm never touching this game again. The IGN review gave it a high score, and surprise surprise the reviewer likes to identify as non-binary. Make of that what you will.
