What’s the absolute best and most capable crawler overall before modifications: Trx6, Trx4 in 12.3”, 12.8, Redcat gen 8 axe, Axial Capra or 1/10 Summit, etc? I feel like nothing can really beat the Summit and it’s the most fun to me, but I’ve only compared it to a trx4 tactical and bronco.
It's not a stock trx6 if you've changed the motor and wheels. Changing out anything on the vehicle makes it not stock...... However you are right it's an impressive rig that does more than it should be able to with Ease.
What wheels or tires where changed? I see the stock wheels and tires being used in this video.. Also changing the motor is moot point in these comparisons the main difference here is the absurd long wheelbase that aids in inclines and descents.
@@skirmich watch the video. Stated in the video that the motor and esc have been swapped for the axe brushless system. Since parts have been changed out that means it is no longer a stock vehicle. Pretty simple.
@@TT-yg2np Yes the motor and ESC since its running an AXE 550 System.. But the things that matter wheels, tires and chassis remain stock.... You cant overcome shitty tires and weight balance with a motor upgrade, Really simple.
I'm still wondering why the drivetrain in the scx10 ii was made with toothpicks, I havnt been hard on mine at all and it's becoming sloppy as a _________! Trx4 seems bulletproof compared to scx10 ii
i recently got the trx6 but it's still in the box. i am still trying to figure out how to reconnect my traxxas light kit on my trx4 after installing a HW Axe on it. Until then, I don't want to put an Axe in the trx6. Any tips would be helpful. thanks and more power to RC Review!
Ok, so what you need to do is just connect power to the lipo battery or the motor input. Just make sure the polarity is correct. The Traxxas box is a step-down box to 3 volts and it can take 6v-11v as input. Just tried it and works like a champ.
Interesting, but to have a clean match all the vehicles should use same tires. Tires are 70% of crawling results (30% is weight distribution, since Traxxas and Axial have different choices, but similar results). Not ever specialized tires are better than stock Traxxas one, for some type of ground and wet conditions.
You guys need to get an exceed mad torque 6x6 crawler... it has moa on all 3 of its axles and it crawls better than any vehicle I’ve seen....I’ve had mine for several years now...put it through snow, mud, rocks, and creek crossings and it always comes back for more punishment... and that’s on the stock nimh battery and no upgrades
@@ClarkDieselShop I guess that you've got money to burn.... Must be nice. 😖 RUDE assumption too. I'm desperately trying to support an expensive Hobby on what LITTLE my Government gives me, as a Disabled Veteran.
Actually the first one, with a crack in the middle. And the very steep descents, the TRX-6 does better. Obviouisly the Capra can do a lot of other things better. One thing to keep in mind is the TRX-6 is using Traxxas tires. We may try the Capra with those.

Really amazing options right there, dude! 😃
Awesome video!
wait til we mod it

Hey Francis, just curious ,how many trucks you got

@@TT-yg2np You are pulling straws here… "It isnt stock because he changed a screw" type of comment.
Is the flysky fs-gt5 a good budget radio/receiver for the axial Capra? Nice video!😎
Not sure but I use the GT3c - awesome and lipo powered transmitter
@@greggk1061 It's the same I use. 😊
I don't know if it's the GT5, but FlySky has some pretty amazing new radios for sure. Even with failsafe.
Yes melissa, i think so
Gt5 is awesome 6ch and crawler mode with rws
I like the video from start to finish
crazy huh. We decided to include the footage from other cars to show how tough these lines are

We'll solve this. Just got to test it out.

RC Review excellent. So when you say correct polarity, it’s positive to positive and neg to neg, right?

Agree. A box stock challenge is good info as well.
Nice vid... getting closer to the TRX 6 vs UMG10 6x6 battle...
We did the battle yesterday. Exciting!!
NICE!!!
Have a ? I'm thinking of getting one in stead of the rc jeep trying to decide what do you all think
do it. But make sure you have enough for brushless and a great servo

Would like to check in to that!! 6x6 is turning out to be a nice surprise
Trx-6 is a beast w/ brushless set-up! Thanks for the vid!
you're welcome. It's kind of mind-blowing
Soo sick!!🤘😎👍
sooooo sick, so versatile
Nice comparison! I'd STILL have a Capra or the UMG10 6X6...
The TRAXXASS is pretty impressive, but *$600.00+!!!???* No.
Carmine ✈🚂🚙
six hundy... and then it needs motor and servo to be good.
Yessir.... UMG-10 6X6!
With Capra Axles and positive offset Wheels, if you really want an Edge!! 😉
$600 is not
Much really for a good rc, if u want a cheap rc go to walmart

Crawler and basher, but not a crasher- TRX6 is a Brawler!
It is a brawler for sure.
Please more videos TRX6 versus the best on near impossibel spots!
many more coming we hope
nice video my friend
The drone advertisement that ran before this video shows a guy going down the road sitting lotus-style on top of a Volkswagen van.
Traxxas 8x8 coming soon!
double dutch bus
Show us the wall you said Capra can't make and TRX6 did....I hostly belive there is nothing that TRX6 can do and Capra can't...other way around

@@RCReviewChannel traxxas tires are bettef than afternoon ones ,i find all different opinions on tires ,i like superswampers but im a newbi
@@RCReviewChannel aftermarket i mesnt?
The long wheelbase helps for climbs but there is no way a 6x6 could hang with a capra on technical stuff or big bolders
Before whatch entire video... My vote... Trx4 is the true goat! 🤘🐐💪
😁
