They are so cute, I hope they all grow up to be big and fluffy spiders just like mum and dad. I haven’t got a tarantula yet, but your work makes me look forward to having my first ever tarantula. I look forward to seeing updates on these cuties
This brings back so many memories from the last few months. I bought a B.Albopilosum Nicaragua pair, and the female was wild so laid an egg sac unexpectedly. I was only 6 months into the hobby at this point. I now have about 400 babies I'm taking care of. It really is an exciting and beautiful process, and I would gladly do it again (although feeding the babies isn't easy and takes A LOT of time).
That is so cool. Thank you for making these videos. Gives us an insight into the lives of these creatures. Showing us that they are not creepy and that they are wonderful and beautiful. Never knew that there was so many different species of tarantulas. You have helped me overcome my fear of spiders. Again thank you.
Congratulations Petko and Annie!!! I've gone from being afraid of all spiders to being comfortable with the idea of owning a tarantula, and it is because of your channel and attitude!!!
Congratulations to the "Proud Papa"! The eggs with legs are so adorable looking forward to seeing them after their first molt etc. Way to go Annie!!!!! You did an amazing job.
Crazy how many hubba hubba time videos we've seen and it's the first time we've seen a healthy hatched sack on this channel. It really goes to prove to some people that tarantula breeding is not for the feint of heart and can take many many attempts. I'm really happy for you!! congrats!!
Annie is the LADY! Two sucessful breedings and eventually a successful eggsack?! The other lady T's need to step up their game! Congrats Petko on your first successful eggsac; hopefully they all hatch and grow up big and strong! :) So excited to see their progress!
WAY TO GO! I'm so excited for you. And I'm so delighted that your first eggs are from Annie. Good luck in your hunt for tarantulas this weekend. It's a little bit early in the season to have a lot of wandering males out in the desert here in the Phoenix area, but you may find a few early birds, especially if you hunt in the early evening. You will often see them walking along rural desert dirt roads out on the Tonto National Forest and surrounding. We haven't had any in or around the house yet, but they will be thick on the ground in a couple of weeks. I usually find a few youngsters in the house, too. When someone asks me what the providence is of one of my desert blondes, I can usually say "under my bed," or "the back of my father's shoe closet!" :-)
Hello, So I've been watching your videos for about 2yrs now and I have to say your one of my favorites. Def in my top 3 channels I love watching. You've taught me to look at arachnids in a different light! I have just purchased my first T and it's all because of you my friend. Actually my son is now watching your channel with me. He's six yes old and has autism, but he is super chill while we watch! That's a big thing you have no idea. So, congratulations on the egg sack and the new additions to the dark den family! Wish you all the best of luck with the slings. My son wants to name one of them, he says to name one Patrick. Lol, that's my son's name. He's super excited right now, and loved the part when you opened it up. This is a long post so I'll end here by saying thank you for all the great vids and Patrick and I are waiting for your update. Hava great trip! Thanks again Petco!
CONTRATULATIONS Petko!! I cried!!!😅😅😅🕷🕷🕷🕷.my granddaughter who is only 5, loved seeing the baby Tarantualas and eggs, she got so excited!! Cannot wait till we see the update!!
Congrats!!!! It doesn't matter if it's supposed to be an easy to breed species. What matters and counts is that YOU were able to SUCCESSFULLY do it🥰 The first time we had a cornsnake pip was such an ecstatic moment 🥰😁 So congrats on your success🥰
Congratulations and salutations Petko, I'm happy for both Annie and yourself. Best of luck. Dark Den videos make life easier and I'm always looking forward to the next one, keep up the good work.
That waterfall terrarium is absolutely goals. Just starting to get into bioactive set ups for my mature T’s. Love it so far but not ready for the waterfall......yet.
I always looks forward to your uploads!!! I love learning about how to take care of the different animals and tarantulas you have. It’s so interesting to me. You’re the best petko!
Thank u dark den...much love for your channel!!!! Have a safe trip wish I could meet when here!!! To bad im on other side of country!!! Enjoy your trip
Awe congratulations, that’s so exciting. Baby T’s 😍 Glad you made it safe here, can’t wait to meet u tomorrow. Oh man going on a wilderness search would be awesome. Well great video as always.
Hola Marko, congrats to the proud new "papa"! You're hoping to see some wild tarantulas tomorrow? I happen to live right here in good ol' Mesa, AZ, and yes my friend... you will see some wild tarantulas, tarantula hawks, lizards, snakes, scorpions, javelina, desert foxes, etc! I'm sure you'll have a guide who can show you exactly where to go and at what time of the day (which you likely know already) to see them. Enjoy PetFest, and welcome to Arizona (tomorrow)!!
Wow! That´s awesome. So many beautiful little spiders. I can imagine that it´s really exciting and I´m looking forward to future updates on this. I also want to thank you for all the content you release because I've been afraid of spiders my whole life but since I found your channel the fear has turned in to a deep fascination for these animals. Thank you and keep it going.
Congratulations on the new babies this is awesome I've been waiting a long time to see you have babies. This is a turning point in the dark Den Yahoo. I have been watching you for a long time and because of you I am no longer afraid of spiders before I was terrified but now I'm no longer terrified of spiders I don't want them on me but I'm not going to kill them for being near me either and you never know I might even be getting my first tarantula at 63 years old wish me luck if I do I'll sure be following your videos. Take care your friend Mary Jo Johnson. Stevensville Montana USA. PS by the time the next tarantulas expose come I will be living in Arizona somewhere so maybe if you need a place to stay and you come to Arizona I could put help you with a place to stay.
my Hysterocrates gigas is digging too I rehoused it bcus I felt guilty that its enclosure was too small when I saw how nice the house you made for yours was. ofc its not the same it doesnt have a pool and a waterfall but now it does have plenty of space on top and lots and lots of substrate to dig up if it wants which are the important things for spider :)
I saw a family in Arizona go out to kill the scorpions on the walls at night with a light to maje them glow. I thought, man Petko and Dark Den would hate this. Lol. God bless!
I really hope all keepers would be like you, regardless of the species it is always exciting to be able to hatch babies, i know some douchebag keepers who claim to dislike common species just cause they are for beginners
Congratulations Petko! I wonder why the mother searches for the eggsack, I don't think Ts possess any kind of instinct towards slings (except for M.balfouri of course, this is only one exception that is proven solid, there may be others). Most opinions I came accross suggest to just take the sack and don't worry about the mother, as she doesn't have the instinct to care for them anyways. By the way from my first ever pairing (T. pruriens), the female starts to show signs of successful pairing, she's THICC, webs and digs excessively, I hope I will have an eggsack of my own soon :) And better yet my next pairing is on the way, L. fallax :)
Congratulations Petko! You have succeed after those past failed attempts. To me, every successful egg hatch is already a win so you're the champ now! Probably gonna need to upgrade your space for the rest of the new generations XD
Baybehs! Congrads! And this will be your first? Wow. Cant wait for the update on them! I have a few new guppy girls looking like they could pop soon. These will be my first ever fry. I keep going back to the tank to see if anything happened lol Its probably going to be a while longer though
Oh the hatched eggs are so weird looking, but cute! I hope they will survive and grow up. Poor Annie.. T's have a pretty short attention span for things like that I hope.
You and Exotics Lair have ignited some serious passion for Tarantulas and insects in me, too bad I cannot get one in my country, but I am looking for ways to take it further
You can always fill the sac back up with substrate and give it back to her, she will drop the sac when she realises it’s ‘no good’ That’s what I do and it works very well
The way you reacted when you saw her digging was the cutest thing EVER
The whole sac would have died, it only takes a few bad eggs. You made the right decision in pulling early.
i was thinking the same thing. once there is mold it would have def spread and fast so i was thinking he pulled it at the perfect time
Congratulations Petko. Little albopilosum are very cute . I hope they survive ;)
Boas, és keeper de tarantulas também? É bom saber que há mais pessoas em Portugal a fazê-lo!
@@Fkwocjeicmwkcjehsbcowhlol
So happy, hopefully the majority of the spiderlings survive!
They are so cute, I hope they all grow up to be big and fluffy spiders just like mum and dad. I haven’t got a tarantula yet, but your work makes me look forward to having my first ever tarantula.
I look forward to seeing updates on these cuties

Congratulations to the "Proud Papa"! The eggs with legs are so adorable looking forward to seeing them after their first molt etc. Way to go Annie!!!!! You did an amazing job.

I love the water feature enclosure. And so does the spider. Very cool she’s made it her own.
So neat to see her moving dirt around and building.
Annie is the LADY! Two sucessful breedings and eventually a successful eggsack?! The other lady T's need to step up their game! Congrats Petko on your first successful eggsac; hopefully they all hatch and grow up big and strong! :) So excited to see their progress!

Sweet sweet sweeeet!!! Congratulations to you, Annie and the father
You did an amazing job on the waterfall enclosure. Also, that was really cool getting to see her dumping the dirt from her hole.

my Hysterocrates gigas is digging too I rehoused it bcus I felt guilty that its enclosure was too small when I saw how nice the house you made for yours was. ofc its not the same it doesnt have a pool and a waterfall but now it does have plenty of space on top and lots and lots of substrate to dig up if it wants which are the important things for spider :)

Congrats on the slings !!! Have a safe trip to America, and good luck in hunting in Arizona, God bless.

There's lots of wildlife in Arizona but Spiders and centipedes and scorpions are usually out at night.
I saw a family in Arizona go out to kill the scorpions on the walls at night with a light to maje them glow. I thought, man Petko and Dark Den would hate this. Lol. God bless!
Arent mature male tarantulas wandering around Arizona this time of year?
Maybe in the morning or evening but they usually hide in the afternoon because it's so hot
