I know this is just a tv show, but when I get the chance to adopt or foster a kid I will never judge the birth parent. After learning what my dad went through as a kid it’s remarkable that he’s a fully functioning human being let alone a great parent. You never know what these people have been through, it can drive you to madness years after it
