  • We begin at Watford awaiting our departure time.
    On this rainy night we are running as the 0040 all stations to Wembley Park.
    On arrival at P5 at Wembley the station staff help to detrain before we then get the shunt to Neasden depot and after speaking to the tower for stabling instructions we stable on 55N in the depot.

    Really nice video. My great uncle and his father before him were station masters at Rickmansworth and Chalfont and Latimer back in the 1930s to the 1970s so im always interested in the Metropolitan line. Its my local tube line too so its nice to see this video of the depot as well. Subscribed and hit the notification bell too

    We've been testing in ATO/ PM Mode right up to Signals 701, 703, and 704. Whether that will be the actual arrangements at CBTC Commissioning, I don't know, but the functionality is available.

      Makes sense as thats the beginning of control by neasden tower, guessing that will be the point when depot rules apply comes up on the SID and then RM from there into depot.

      @@traindrivergamer4279 That is the plan. Depot rules apply will also appear at the South End of the yard.

    as a wembley park station staff member we never have enough staff at closing time for 2 staff for detrainments on platform 5

    Anyone familiar with Geoff Marshall will know he did a video on the north curve and caught the late train that uses it. Then couldn't get home because it was too late.😝

    Nice train audio, but your talking sounds very distant

      sorry about that, the camera is on the M door in the cab and sometimes with the air con it gets loud in cab, once i return from leave any further videos will be recorded with the camera closer to me so hopefully that will help with any narration i do.

      they were awesome trains, was fun to see luggage flying off the racks when drivers flew through neasden at more than the 40 limit 😁

      The thing that used to freak me when I was a kid was with the a stock when it left the platform at Eastcote going to Uxbridge the lights used to go out don’t know if it the same now cos I ain’t been back home for 20+ years 🤣

    • @traindrivergamer4279
      @traindrivergamer4279  Месяц назад +1

      @@andrewfieldhouse1945 that was when they used to go over the current rail gaps, the S Stock doesnt have that they have 2 auxillary converter modules that distributes the power around the train so if 1 half is over a gap it gets the current it needs from the other end. The A stock in summer was fun going into city as some drivers had saloon nights off to keep saloon cool and then forgot to turn them on at finchley rd so would be darkness to baker st 😁

    That looked like a really interesting video but I really struggled to hear what you were saying. Others haven't left similar comments so I'm guessing it was just me.

      The camera is usually set up a few feet away on the middle M door, might of been the Air Con in the cab? will try to speak up a bit on later vids when i return from leave.

      @@Gary0557 in this video the trip is manually operated. ATO is between finchley rd and aldgate.
