    Sad to hear you don’t recommend first timers to visit in October because I just booked my flight! Thanks for the helpful info tho!

      @@kindacoolgreg 😬 it’s just one opinion-October is def. the most fun time to go but it’s not for everyone. Just make sure you have a plan, book everything in advance, and leave plenty of time to get from one thing to the next and to just relax and walk around a little! Oh and to avoid crowds on Essex St., walk along the side streets surrounding Essex. Have the most amazing time! 🎃

    So I’m staying 45 min from Salem so I plan to drive to Salem park on some random street away from
    The crowds and Uber downtown do you recommend that?

      It depends how far away you park. Most side streets as of the last few years have been permit parking only for residents. I’m not sure exactly how far you’d need to park but it’s worth a try. I would say to get into town early regardless that way you can try a parking lot or garage before they fill up if you can’t find a non permit parking spot.
