The WWE Royal Rumble 2023 Premium Live Event results are here! I go through every match and battle royal in the Royal Rumble 2023 PPV. Join me and @ Urban Franchise as we discuss our favourite highlights and what we rate for the Royal Rumble 2023 PLE.
Prior to watching the Royal Rumble PPV at The Rec Room bar, we also checked out Smash Wrestling, a local Toronto Indy promotion that was also featured in the bar that afternoon! I ran into my friend Wing, a figure collector in the wrestling community. Wing will be hosting a toy show in Mississauga (near Toronto) called the “Awesome Toy Show” with a special meet and greet Chris Van Vliet on March 26!
Smash had a great wrestling show, I got to see Aerostar and Drago wrestle, and got a picture with Aerostar. Then it was time to watch the Royal Rumble PLE! A lot of wrestling fans are excited to Cody Rhodes return!

• Men’s Royal Rumble: 30 men battle royal! The winner of the Men’s Royal Rumble will get a spot at Wrestlemania 39 to challenge the world championships held by Roman Reigns.
• Bray Wyatt vs LA Knight (Pitch Black Match)
• Bianca Belair vs Alexa Bliss (Raw Women’s Championship)
• Women’s Royal Rumble: 30 women battle royal! The winner of the Women’s Royal Rumble will get a spot at Wrestlemania 39 to challenge the Raw women’s championship or Smackdown women’s championship
• Roman Reigns vs Kevin Owens (Undisputed WWE Universal Championship)

I haven't watched a WWE event of any kind since Wrestlemania 2022... I was excited for the men's Rumble, but it fell very flat and the ending was more obvious than most years. The Wyatt/Knight match was very strange and hard to watch. Uncle Howdy missed Knight by a mile.
The women's Rumble was well done and far better than the men's. Ripley is very deserving and didn't feel as obvious to me as others I've seen posting about it.
The main event was pretty captivating and told a fantastic story. Zayn is over like nobody's business and Roman got some real heat he desperately needed lest he become a cool heel.
I'd give the overall a 3/5. Not a men's Rumble I'll be watching again anytime soon, or maybe ever. The women's might be worth another look.

Ryan Joudrey yes I agree the Men’s Rumble wasn’t that exciting, the Women’s Rumble was way better. Having Cody come out #30 made it obvious he was going to win, but I’m glad he did win! The best part of the Wyatt/Knight match was Bray’s entrance. Yes Uncle Howdy’s mask must have made him miss his target lol
I was so happy Rhea won. I didn’t think she would win coming out #1. Rhea is bad ass!
Yes a lot of drama in the main event. The next PPV in Montreal will be interesting with a hot crowd welcoming back their hometown heroes Zayn and Owens 😃
